The auxiliary process includes requesting functional entities of the device to report their configurations prevailing at an update time instant, and constructing an auxiliary configuration data structure on the basis of the reported information. The configuration data structure is updated by replacing a portion of the configuration data structure corresponding to the update time instant with the auxiliary configuration data structure.
