Upon identifying an initial event of a task, the event parser instantiates a state machine associated with the task to verify the occurrence of subsequent events in the task in the appropriate order. The event parser may verify whether configuration changes made by a user have been realized in the system based on the completion of tasks associated with the configuration changes.
