The method further includes comparing the projected route of the emergency vehicle with a projected route of the vehicle. The method still further includes determining whether the projected route of the vehicle should be altered. In response to determining that the projected route of the vehicle should be altered, the method includes causing a signal to alter the projected route of the vehicle to be provided.
