Viable cell electrodes can provide a quick and accurate characterization of viable cell concentrations. Combining the viable cell capacitance with the detection result of 2,3,4-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride (TTC), a rapid and quantitative evaluation of the effect of a freezing method on cell preservation can be achieved, thus overcoming the low effectiveness and non-quantification of previous cell preservation methods.
