Energy harvester circuitry is coupled to the energy storage device and the RF transceiver, and control circuitry is coupled to the energy storage device, the RF transceiver, and the energy harvester. The control circuitry causes the RF transceiver to: establish a connection with a wireless power transmitter (WPT), transmit a beacon signal to the WPT, and receive a wireless power signal from the WPT. The control circuitry causes the energy harvester to deliver at least a portion of energy of the wireless power signal to the energy storage device for storage therein.
