In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device comprises selecting a repetition mapping for In-Phase/Quadrature-Phase (I/Q) symbol repetitions within an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) or Discrete Fourier Transform spread OFDM (DFT-s-OFDM) symbol of an uplink transmission. The I/Q symbol repetitions are for application of an intra data symbol OCC to the I/Q symbol repetitions. The method further comprises transmitting an uplink transmission using the selected repetition mapping. In this manner, performance is improved.
