To form the coil 14 , two wiring layers provided to the active matrix substrate 11 are used. By inserting the coil 14 in series with the counter signal line 13 , high-frequency noise placed on a counter electrode voltage is suppressed and a liquid crystal applied voltage is stabilized, improving the display quality of a liquid crystal screen. A similar coil may be formed using a power supply line on the active matrix substrate 11.
