Furthermore, the liquid crystal has an adapted intrinsic tilt angle and is used in a half-wave blade configuration. The liquid crystal further includes first and second separate areas, each respectively located opposite a vision axis. The first area includes a first director and the second area includes a second director. The first and second directors are oriented so as to define an adapted angle between them.
