Each pixel circuit includes a light emitting element drive unit for supplying a current or voltage corresponding to the data signal to the light emitting element, and a light emitting period control unit for controlling a light emitting period of the light emitting element by the light emitting period control signal. The light emitting period control signals have two or more light emitting period control signals, and the respective pixels are divided into two or more groups by grouping the respective pixels disposed in a same row at least into a same group.
