A sending method of the present invention is a sending method for transmitting a data string signal to a primary system and a backup system in which: a first periodic signal which becomes a reference signal and a second periodic signal with a longer cycle period than the first periodic signal are generated; a data string signal is synchronized with the first periodic signal; and the data string signal synchronized with the first periodic signal is multiplexed by a cycle period synchronized with the second periodic signal to transmit it to the primary system and the backup system.
