The z-axis includes a variable length light source for each of the plural x-y cells. The z-axis also includes a space vector including time and space information. A 3rd dimension is created by changing a length of the light source. A 2D image cell at (x, y) is moved along the 3D z-axis (x, y, zα) with viewing angle (α) to create a converted 3D image.
