Further, a particle injection channel is connected in fluid communication with the air flow injection channel. In this combination, when an air flow is established through the air flow injection channel and the lumen, particles are drawn by venturi action from the particle injection channel for single file transit through the lumen for analysis. A subsequent pneumatic diversion through the diverter then provides an exit for each particle from the base member through a preselected type channel for collection.
