A system includes a memory coupled to a memory controller. When operating in a first performance state, the memory controller may perform a first calibration of a delay applied to the data strobe signal. Performing the first calibration includes varying the delay over a first range of values. Thereafter, responsive to returning to the first performance state from another performance state, the memory controller may perform a second calibration.
