The liquid crystal display panel includes a TFT substrate and a CF substrate that are respectively provided with first and second alignment films that allow for vertical light alignment, so that after irradiation of ultraviolet light, the first alignment film and the second alignment film have alignment directions that are substantially parallel but opposite to each other and the liquid crystal molecules are set at a tilt angle for being nearly vertically aligned.
