1

1. A display apparatus comprising: a plurality of sub-pixels comprising at least one shared sub-pixel; and a plurality of pixels each comprising a normal sub-pixel, wherein the plurality of pixels comprises a first pixel and a second pixel, the first pixel is neighborly and physically adjacent to the second pixel, the first pixel and the second pixel together share a shared sub-pixel of the at least one shared sub-pixel, and a total number of the sub-pixels of each of the first pixel and the second pixel is x.5 (where x is a natural number), wherein the first pixel does not comprise an entirety of the second pixel, and the second pixel does not comprise an entirety of the first pixel.

2

2. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein x=1 or 2.

3

3. The display apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the at least one shared sub-pixel and the normal sub-pixel has an aspect ratio of 1:2.5 or 1:1.5.

4

4. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the entirety of the first pixel is neighborly and physically adjacent to the entirety of the second pixel along a first direction.

5

5. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the shared sub-pixel of the at least one shared sub-pixel is one color.

6

6. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the total number of the sub-pixels of each of the first pixel and the second pixel is 1.5 or 2.5.
