1. An apparatus of a station (STA), the apparatus comprising: memory; and processing circuitry coupled to the memory, the processing circuitry configured to: associate with an access point, wherein an address of the access point is a basic service set (BSS) identification (BSSID); decode a first portion of a first frame, wherein when the first portion of the first frame comprises a receiver address (RA) field, a transmitter address (TA) field, or a BSSID field, and when a value of the RA field, a value of the TA field, or a value of the BSSID field is equal to the value of the BSSID, determine the first frame is an intra-BSS frame, wherein the processing circuitry sets a value of a predetermined bit in the TA field to a predetermined value prior to determining if the value of the TA field is equal to the value of the BSSID; and generate a signal to cause the STA to wirelessly transmit a second frame that overlaps in time with a second portion of the first frame, when the first portion of the first frame indicates the first frame is not the intra-BSS frame and is an inter-BSS frame, and when a measured energy of received signals of the first portion of the first frame is below a power detect threshold for inter-BSS frames.

The apparatus of claim 1 , herein the processing circuitry is further configured to: determine the first frame is the inter-BSS frame, when the first frame comprises the BSSID field and the value of the BSSID field is not the value of the BSSID, and when the value of the BSSID field is not the value of another BSS associated with the STA.

The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to: determine the first frame is the inter-BSS frame, when the first frame comprises the TA field and the RA field, and when the value of the TA field and the value of the RA field is not the value of the BSSID, and when the value of the TA field and the value of the RA field is not the value of another BSS associated with the STA, wherein the processing circuitry sets a value of a predetermined bit in the TA field to a predetermined value prior to determining if the value of the TA field is equal to the value of the BSSID.
4. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the value of the BSSID and the value of the BSSID field is a media access control (MAC) address.
5. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the address of the BSS is a media access control (MAC) address of an access point of the BSS.
6. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the power detect threshold is greater than a minimum power detect level.
7. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first frame is received on a first channel and the second frame is to be transmitted on the first channel.
8. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the second frame is to be transmitted in accordance with one or both of orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) and multiple-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO).
9. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to: generate the signal to cause the STA to transmit a second frame that overlaps in time with a second portion of the first frame, when the first portion of the first frame indicates the first frame is not the intra-BSS frame and is an inter-BSS frame, and when a measured energy of received signals of the first portion of the first frame are below a power detect threshold for inter-BSS frames.
10. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to: determine the first frame is the inter-BSS frame, when the first frame comprises the TA field and the RA field, and when the value of the TA field and the value of the RA field is not the value of the first BSSID, and when the value of the TA field and the value of the RA field is not a value of a third BSSID of another BSS associated with the STA, wherein the processing circuitry forces the value of the individual/group bit in the TA field to 0 prior to a determination if the value of the TA field is equal to the value of the first BSSID.
11. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first frame comprises a color field, the color field indicating one or more other BSSs associated with the BSS.
12. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the STA is one from the following group: an Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) 802.11ax access point, an IEEE 802.11ax station, a high-efficiency (HE) STA, an IEEE 802.11 station, and an IEEE 802.11 access point.
13. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising: transceiver circuitry coupled to the processing circuitry; and one or more antennas coupled to the transceiver circuitry.
14. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium that stores instructions for execution by one or more processors of an apparatus of a station (STA the instructions to configure the one or more processors to: associate with an access point, wherein an address of the access point is a basic service set (BSS) identification (BSSID); decode a first portion of a first frame, wherein when the first portion of the first frame comprises a receiver address (RA) field, a transmitter address (TA) field, or a BSSID field, and when a value of the RA field, a value of the TA field, or a value of the BSSID field is equal to the value of the BSSID, determine the first frame is an intra-BSS frame, wherein the processing circuitry sets a value of a predetermined bit in the TA field to a predetermined value prior to determining if the value of the TA field is equal to the value of the BSSID; and generate a signal to cause the STA to wirelessly transmit a second frame that overlaps in time with a second portion of the first frame, when the first portion of the first frame indicates the first frame is not the intra-BSS frame and is an inter-BSS frame, and when a measured energy of received signals of the first portion of the first frame is below a power detect threshold for inter-BSS frames.
15. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the instructions to further configure the one or more processors to: determine the first frame is the inter-BSS frame, when the first frame comprises the BSSID field and the value of the BSSID field is not the value of the BSSID, and when the value of the BSSID field is not the value of another BSS associated with the STA.
16. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the instructions to further configure the one or more processors to: determine the first frame is the inter-BSS frame, when the first frame comprises the TA field and the RA field, and when the value of the TA field and the value of the RA field is not the value of the BSSID, and when the value of the TA field and the value of the RA field is not the value of another BSS associated with the STA, wherein the processing circuitry sets a value of a predetermined bit in the TA field to a predetermined value prior to determining if the value of the TA field is equal to the value of the BSSID.
17. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the value of the first BSSID and the value of the second BSSID field is a media access control (MAC) address.
18. A method performed by an apparatus of a station (STA), the method comprising: associating with an access point, wherein an address of the access point is a basic service set (BSS) identification (BSSID); decoding a first portion of a first frame, wherein when the first portion of the first frame comprises a receiver address (RA) field, a transmitter address (TA) field, or a BSSID field, and when a value of the RA field, a value of the TA field, or a value of the BSSID field is equal to the value of the BSSID, determine the first frame is an intra-BSS frame, wherein the processing circuitry sets a value of a predetermined bit in the TA field to a predetermined value prior to determining if the value of the TA field is equal to the value of the BSSID; and generating a signal to cause the STA to wirelessly transmit a second frame that overlaps in time with a second portion of the first frame, when the first portion of the first frame indicates the first frame is not the intra-BSS frame and is an inter-BSS frame, and when a measured energy of received signals of the first portion of the first frame is below a power detect threshold for inter-BSS frames.
19. The method of claim 18 , wherein the method further comprises: determining the first frame is the inter-BSS frame, when the first frame comprises the second BSSID field and the value of the second BSSID field is not the value of the first BSSID, and when the value of the second BSSID field is not the value of another BSS associated with the STA.
