1. An apparatus comprising: a transmitter comprising logic and circuitry configured to generate a transmission of an Enhanced Directional Multi-Gigabit (DMG) (EDMG) Single Carrier (SC) Physical Layer (PHY) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) at an EDMG wireless communication station (STA), the transmitter comprising: a constellation mapper to map a sequence of bits to constellation points in a spatial stream according to a modulation scheme, the sequence of bits is based on a data field of the EDMG SC PPDU; and a symbol interleaver to interleave modulated symbols in a SC symbol block of the spatial stream by permuting the SC symbol block into a permuted SC symbol block according to an array of permutation indexes, wherein the array of permutation indexes is based on a count of symbols per SC symbol block for a count of 2.16 Gigahertz (GHz) channels in a channel bandwidth for transmission of the EDMG SC PPDU.

The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the array of permutation indexes is based on a first permutation parameter and a second permutation parameter, wherein the first permutation parameter is based on the count of 2.16 GHz channels in the channel bandwidth, and wherein the second permutation parameter is based on the first permutation parameter and the count of symbols per SC symbol block for the count of 2.16 GHz channels in the channel bandwidth.

8. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the modulation scheme comprises a 64 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) modulation, or a 64 Non-Uniform Constellation (NUC) modulation.

9. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the EDMG SC PPDU comprises a Single User (SU) PPDU.

10. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the EDMG SC PPDU comprises a Multi User (MU) PPDU.

11. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the transmitter is configured to transmit the EDMG SC PPDU in a channel bandwidth of at least 2.16 GHz over a frequency band above 45 GHz.

12. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the transmitter is configured to transmit the EDMG SC PPDU over a channel bandwidth of 2.16 GHz, 4.32 GHz, 6.48 GHz, or 8.64 GHz.

13. The apparatus of claim 1 comprising a plurality of antennas connected to the transmitter, a memory, and a processor to execute instructions of an Operating System (OS).

A product comprising one or more tangible computer-readable non-transitory storage media comprising computer-executable instructions operable to, when executed by at least one processor, enable the at least one processor to cause an Enhanced Directional Multi-Gigabit (DMG) (EDMG) wireless communication station (STA) to: map a sequence of bits to constellation points in a spatial stream according to a modulation scheme, the sequence of bits is based on a data field of an EDMG Single Carrier (SC) Physical Layer (PHY) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU); and interleave modulated symbols in a SC symbol block of the spatial stream by permuting the SC symbol block into a permuted SC symbol block according to an array of permutation indexes, wherein the array of permutation indexes is based on a count of symbols per SC symbol block for a count of 2.16 Gigahertz (GHz) channels in a channel bandwidth for transmission of the EDMG SC PPDU.

The product of claim 14 , wherein the array of permutation indexes is based on a first permutation parameter and a second permutation parameter, wherein the first permutation parameter is based on the count of 2.16 GHz channels in the channel bandwidth, and wherein the second permutation parameter is based on the first permutation parameter and the count of symbols per SC symbol block for the count of 2.16 GHz channels in the channel bandwidth.

21. The product of claim 14 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the EDMG STA to transmit the EDMG SC PPDU in a channel bandwidth of at least 2.16 GHz over a frequency band above 45 GHz.

An apparatus comprising: a transmitter configured to generate a transmission of an Enhanced Directional Multi-Gigabit (DMG) (EDMG) Single Carrier (SC) Physical Layer (PHY) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) at an EDMG wireless communication station (STA), the transmitter comprising: means for mapping a sequence of bits to constellation points in a spatial stream according to a modulation scheme, the sequence of bits is based on a data field of the EDMG SC PPDU; and means for interleaving modulated symbols in a SC symbol block of the spatial stream by permuting the SC symbol block into a permuted SC symbol block according to an array of permutation indexes, wherein the array of permutation indexes is based on a count of symbols per SC symbol block for a count of 2.16 Gigahertz (GHz) channels in a channel bandwidth for transmission of the EDMG SC PPDU.

The apparatus of claim 22 , wherein the array of permutation indexes is based on a first permutation parameter and a second permutation parameter, wherein the first permutation parameter is based on the count of 2.16 GHz channels in the channel bandwidth, and wherein the second permutation parameter is based on the first permutation parameter and the count of symbols per SC symbol block for the count of 2.16 GHz channels in the channel bandwidth.
