5. The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 4, wherein to normalize the address of the merchant, the processor further executes the computer-executable instructions to reformat the address of the merchant to be in a standardized address format.

The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 4, wherein to select the string of characters, the processor further executes the computer-executable instructions to select one or more of a ZIP code, a street number, or a defined number of characters of a street name from the normalized address.

8. The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 7, wherein the first element comprises at least one of a suite number, floor number, apartment number, or room number; and wherein the second element comprises at least one of a space character or a special character.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the attribute of the merchant record to select the subset of the at least one other merchant record comprises at least one of a corporate ID, a chain ID, an agent ID, a tax ID, a merchant name, or a brand ID.

13. The system of claim 12, wherein to normalize the address of the merchant, the one or more processors further execute the computer-executable instructions to reformat the address of the merchant to be in a standardized address format.

14. The system of claim 12, wherein to select the string of characters, the one or more processors further execute the computer-executable instructions to select one or more of a ZIP code, a street number, or a defined number of characters of a street name.

16. The system of claim 15, wherein the first element comprises at least one of a suite number, floor number, apartment number, or room number; and wherein the second element comprises at least one of a space character or a special character.

18. The method of claim 17, wherein the attribute of the merchant record for selecting the subset of the at least one other merchant record comprises at least one of a corporate ID, a chain ID, an agent ID, a tax ID, a merchant name, or a brand ID.
