2. The loop prevention system of claim 1, wherein the first data frame includes a first Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) tag, and wherein the first loop breaker tag includes a second VLAN tag.

The IHS of claim 8, wherein the first loop breaker data frame includes a first Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) data frame, the first loop breaker tag includes a first VLAN tag, the second loop breaker data frame includes a second VLAN data frame, the second loop breaker tag includes a second VLAN tag.

10. The IHS of claim 9, wherein the first plurality of bits in the first loop breaker tag are included in a first VLAN IDentifier (VID) field, and the second plurality of bits in the second loop breaker tag are included in a second VID field.

11. The IHS of claim 10, wherein the first bit that is included in the first plurality of bits in the first loop breaker tag and the second bit that is included in the second plurality of bits in the second loop breaker tag are set by changing a logical zero to a logical one.

16. The method of claim 15, wherein the first data frame includes a first Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) tag, and wherein the first loop breaker tag includes a second VLAN tag.
