14. The method as in any one of claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, wherein the transaction card is configured to remain active for a predetermined time period after the transaction card becomes active.

15. The method of claim 14, wherein the transaction card is configured to remain active until a pre-determined number of transactions are completed after the transaction card becomes active.

16. The method as in any one of claim, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, wherein the transaction card is configured to remain active until a pre-determined number of transactions are completed after the transaction card becomes active.
