3. The method of claim 2, wherein at least one wavelength of a light pattern emitted from the retinal imaging system toward the retina is different than at least one other wavelength of light emitted from the eye tracking system toward the eye during the time period.

The method of claim 1, wherein the one or more eye tracking parameters further comprise at least one of: an angle of eye-gaze for the eye, a torsion of the eye, a shape of the eye, a focal distance of the eye, a dilation of the pupil, an inter-pupillary distance associated with the eye, a translation of the eye, and an accommodation of the eye.
12. The method of claim 1, wherein the eye tracking system is incorporated into a head-mounted display after the one or more eye tracking parameters are determined to be acceptable based on the comparison.
