1

1. A method comprising: receiving, by a computing device located external to a premises, an identifier of a first device based on the first device accessing a resource locator associated with a network external to the premises, wherein the first device is one of a plurality of devices located at the premises and associated with a premises network located at the premises; and causing, by the computing device and based on the computing device determining that the received identifier matches at least one of a group of identifiers associated with the plurality of devices associated with the premises network, pairing of the first device with a second device of the plurality of devices associated with the premises network, to enable control of one or more features of the second device via the first device.

2

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the group of identifiers comprise internet protocol addresses assigned to the one or more devices associated with the premises network.

3

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the accessing the resource locator comprises at least one of displaying the resource locator or enabling automatic navigation to a resource associated with the resource locator.

4

4. The method of claim 1, wherein causing pairing of the first device with the second device comprises allowing the first device to access information associated with communicating with the second device.

5

5. The method of claim 1, wherein causing pairing of the first device with the second device comprises granting authorization for the first device to pair with the second device.

6

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the second device is associated with a display configured to output content to a user, wherein the first device is configured, based on the pairing, to control the one or more features of the second device, and wherein the one or more features are associated with the outputted content.

7

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the one or more features of the second device comprise a game control.

8

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the second device comprises a set top box, and wherein the first device comprises a user device.

9

9. A system comprising: a first device located at the premises and associated with a premises network located at the premises; and at least one computing device located external to the premises and configured to: receive, by the computing device, an identifier of the first device based on the first device accessing a resource locator, wherein the first device is one of a plurality of devices associated with the premises network associated with a network external to the premises; and cause, by the computing device and based on determining that the received identifier matches at least one of a group of identifiers associated with the plurality of devices associated with the premises network, pairing of the first device with a second device of the plurality of devices associated with the premises network, to enable control of one or more features of the second device via the first device.

10

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the group of identifiers comprises an internet protocol address assigned to the one or more devices associated with the premises network.

11

11. The system of claim 9, wherein the accessing the resource locator comprises at least one of displaying the resource locator or enabling automatic navigation to a resource associated with the resource locator.

12

12. The system of claim 9, wherein causing pairing of the first device with the second device comprises allowing the first device to access information associated with communicating with the second device.

13

13. The system of claim 9, wherein causing pairing of the first device with the second device comprises granting authorization for the first device to pair with the second device.

14

14. The system of claim 9, wherein the second device is associated with a display configured to output content to a user, wherein the first device is configured, based on the pairing, to control the one or more features of the second device, and wherein the one or more features are associated with the outputted content.

15

15. The system of claim 9, wherein the one or more features of the second device comprise a game control.

16

16. A computing device comprising: one or more processors; and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to: receive an identifier of a first device based on the first device accessing a resource locator, wherein the first device is one of a plurality of devices located at a premises and associated with a premises network located at the premises, wherein the computing device is located external to the premises, and wherein the resource locator is associated with a network external to the premises; and cause, by the computing device and based on determining that the received identifier matches at least one of a group of identifiers associated with the plurality of devices associated with the premises network, pairing of the first device with a second device of the plurality of devices associated with the premises network, to enable control of one or more features of the second device via the first device.

17

17. The computing device of claim 16, wherein the group of identifiers comprises an internet protocol address assigned to the one or more devices associated with the premises network.

18

18. The computing device of claim 16, wherein the accessing the resource locator comprises at least one of displaying the resource locator or enabling automatic navigation to a resource associated with the resource locator.

19

19. The computing device of claim 16, wherein the instructions that, when executed, cause the device to cause pairing of the first device with the second device, cause the device to allow the first device to access information associated with communicating with the second device.

20

20. The computing device of claim 16, wherein the instructions that, when executed, cause the device to cause pairing of the first device with the second device, cause the device to grant authorization for the first device to pair with the second device.

21

21. The computing device of claim 16, wherein the second device is associated with a display configured to output content to a user, wherein the first device is configured, based on the pairing, to control the one or more features of the second device, and wherein the one or more features are associated with the outputted content.

22

22. The computing device of claim 16, wherein the one or more features of the second device comprise a game control.

23

23. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause: receiving, by a computing device located external to a premises, an identifier of a first device based on the first device accessing a resource locator associated with a network external to the premises, wherein the first device is one of a plurality of devices located at the premises and associated with a premises network located at the premises; and causing, by the computing device and based on the computing device determining that the received identifier matches at least one of a group of identifiers associated with the plurality of devices associated with the premises network, pairing of the first device with a second device of the plurality of devices associated with the premises network, to enable control of one or more features of the second device via the first device.

24

24. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 23, wherein the group of identifiers comprise internet protocol addresses assigned to the one or more devices associated with the premises network.

25

25. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 23, wherein the instructions that cause accessing the resource locator, cause accessing the resource locator by at least one of displaying the resource locator or enabling automatic navigation to a resource associated with the resource locator.

26

26. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 23, wherein the instructions that cause causing pairing of the first device with the second device, cause pairing of the first device with the second device by allowing the first device to access information associated with communicating with the second device.

27

27. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 23, wherein the instructions that cause causing pairing of the first device with the second device, cause pairing of the first device with the second device by granting authorization for the first device to pair with the second device.

28

28. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 23, wherein the second device is associated with a display configured to output content to a user, wherein the first device is configured, based on the pairing, to control the one or more features of the second device, and wherein the one or more features are associated with the outputted content.

29

29. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 23, wherein the one or more features of the second device comprise a game control.

30

30. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 23, wherein the second device comprises a set top box, and wherein the first device comprises a user device.
