1

1. A processing method of a conference system that includes a microphone, a camera, and a first object, the processing method comprising: obtaining image data of an image taken by the camera, the image data including a plurality of objects; detecting kinds and positions of a plurality of objects included in the image data obtained; identifying the first object and one or more second objects different from the first object based on the detected kinds of plurality of the objects from among the plurality of objects included in the obtained image data; calculating (i) a position of the first object and (ii) positions of the one or more second objects relative to the first object; selecting a second object, from among the one or more second objects, whose position relative to the first object satisfies a specified condition; generating focused image data that focuses on the selected second object; and generating output data based on the generated focused image data, which focuses on the selected second object, and audio data picked up by the microphone.

2

2. The processing method according to claim 1, further comprising calculating a distance between the first object and each of the one or more second objects, wherein the selecting the second object whose position relative to the first object satisfies the specified condition includes selecting a second object that is within a specified distance from the first object.

3

3. The processing method according to claim 1, further comprising: receiving, by an operator included on the first object, a user operation; and switching an output of the conference system between (i) the obtained image data of the image taken by the camera and (ii) the output data generated based on the generated focused image data according to the user operation received by the operator on the first object.

4

4. The processing method according to claim 1, further comprising receiving a selection command for selection of a kind of second objects, wherein the selecting the second object whose position relative to the first object satisfies the specified condition includes selecting a second object that satisfies the specified condition, out of one or more second objects of the kind specified by the selection command.

5

5. The processing method according to claim 1, further comprising receiving a tracking command for tracking a motion of the selected second object, wherein the generated output data includes the motion of the selected second object targeted for the tracking.

6

6. The processing method according to claim 1, wherein the generating focused image data that focuses on the selected second object includes performing image processing of the obtained image data to zoom in on the selected second object.

7

7. The processing method according to claim 1, further comprising adjusting a directionality of the microphone to the selected second object.

8

8. The processing method according to claim 1, further comprising: identifying a person who is speaking; and adjusting a directionality of the microphone to the person who is speaking.

9

9. The processing method according to claim 1, wherein the generating focused image data that focuses on the selected second object includes performing image processing of the obtained image data to focus on the selected second object or controlling the camera to obtain another image focused on the selected second object.

10

10. A conference system comprising: a microphone; a camera; and a processor configured to: obtain audio data picked up by the microphone; obtain image data of an image taken by the camera, the image data including a plurality of objects; detect kinds and positions of a plurality of objects included in the image data obtained; identify a first object and one or more second objects different from the first object based on the detected kinds of plurality of the objects from among the plurality of objects included in the obtained image data; calculate (i) a position of the first object and (ii) positions of the one or more second objects relative to the first object; select a second object, from among the one or more second objects, whose position relative to the first object satisfies a specified condition; generate focused image data that focuses on the selected second object; and generate output data based on the generated focused image data, which focuses on the selected second object, and the audio data picked up by the microphone.

11

11. The conference system according to claim 10, wherein: the processor is further configured to calculate a distance between the first object and each of the one or more second objects; and the selected second object is a second object that is within a specified distance from the first object.

12

12. The conference system according to claim 10, wherein: the first object includes an operator configured to receive a user operation; and the processor is further configured to switch an output of the conference system between (i) the obtained image data of the image taken by the camera and (ii) the output data generated based on the generated focused image data according to the user operation received by the operator included on the first object.

13

13. The conference system according to claim 10, wherein: the first object includes an operator configured to receive a selection command for selection of a kind of second objects; and the selected second object is a second object that satisfies the specified condition, out of one or more second objects of the kind specified by the selection command.

14

14. The conference system according to claim 10, wherein: the first object includes an operator configured to receive a tracking command for tracking a motion of the selected second object; and wherein the generated output data includes the motion of the selected second object targeted for the tracking.

15

15. The conference system according to claim 10, wherein the processor is configured to generate the focused image data that focuses on the selected second object by performing image processing of the obtained image data to zoom in on the selected second object.

16

16. The conference system according to claim 10, wherein the processor is further configured to adjust a directionality of the microphone to the selected second object.

17

17. The conference system according to claim 10, wherein the processor is further configured to: identify a person who is speaking; and adjust a directionality of the microphone to the person who is speaking.

18

18. The conference system according to claim 10, further comprising a communicator configured to send the generated output data to a device in a remote location and receive data including image data or audio data from the device in the remote location.

19

19. The conference system according to claim 10, wherein the processor is configured to generate the focused image data that focuses on the selected second object by performing image processing of the obtained image data to focus on the selected second object or by controlling the camera to obtain another image focused on the selected second object.
