1

1. A method for synchronizing delivery of a multimedia service among different media streams performed by a processor of a base station, comprising: receiving a buffer status report for each of different type media streams of the multimedia service from a wireless device, wherein the buffer status reports indicate different logical channel groups and different priorities for each different type media stream; allocating uplink (UL) grants for each different type media stream of the multimedia service based on the buffer status reports, wherein the allocated UL grants include a periodic configured grant (CG) offset based on skew of two or more packets between the different type media streams, and wherein the different type media streams include a payload configured to align the CG offset with the skew; and indicating the allocated UL grant for each different type media stream of the multimedia service to the wireless device over a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH).

2

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising: receiving a scheduling request (SR) from the wireless device indicating a remaining latency budget for one of the different type media streams of the multimedia service over a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH); allocating UL grants for the one of the different type media streams of the multimedia service based on the remaining latency budget in response to receiving the SR; indicating the allocated UL grant for the one of the different type media streams of the multimedia service to the wireless device over the PDCCH; and receiving UL data from for the one of the different type media streams of the multimedia service from the wireless device over a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH).

3

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the remaining latency budget is a remaining packet delay budget.

4

4. The method of claim 2, wherein the remaining latency budget is a remaining end-to-end (e2e) latency budget.

5

5. A base station, comprising: a processor configured with processor-executable instructions to: receive a buffer status report for each of different type media stream of a multimedia service from a wireless device, wherein the buffer status reports indicate different logical channel groups and different priorities for each different type media stream; allocate uplink (UL) grants for each different type media stream of the multimedia service based on the buffer status reports, wherein the allocated UL grants include a periodic configured grant (CG) offset based on skew of two or more packets between the different type media streams, and wherein the different type media streams include a payload configured to align the CG offset with the skew; and indicate the allocated UL grant for each different type media stream of the multimedia service to the wireless device over a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH).

6

6. The base station of claim 5, wherein the processor is further configured with processor-executable instructions to: receive a scheduling request (SR) from the wireless device indicating a remaining latency budget for one of the different type media streams of the multimedia service over a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH); allocate UL grants for the one of the different type media streams of the multimedia service based on the remaining latency budget in response to receiving the SR; indicate the allocated UL grant for the one of the different type media streams of the multimedia service to the wireless device over the PDCCH; and receive UL data from for the one of the different type media streams of the multimedia service from the wireless device over a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH).

7

7. The base station of claim 6, wherein the remaining latency budget is a remaining packet delay budget.

8

8. The base station of claim 6, wherein the remaining latency budget is a remaining end-to-end (e2e) latency budget.
