Legal claims defining the scope of protection, as filed with the USPTO.
1. A thread generation method, in a multi-processor system, of executing a plurality of threads of instruction streams having a parent-child relationship, which are provided by dividing a program into said instruction streams, said method comprising: a first step of determining whether a child thread does not exist; a second step of determining whether the oldest parent thread in said, multi-processor system does not exist; and a generation step of generating the child thread when it is determined that the oldest thread does not exist at said second step and the child thread does not exist at said first step.
2. A computer-readable storage medium having a computer readable program codes embodied thereon for causing a thread generation in a multi-processor system which executes a plurality of threads having a parent-child relationship, in which said plurality of threads are provided by dividing a program into said plurality of threads of instruction streams, said computer readable program codes comprising: first processing for determining whether a child thread does not exist; second processing for determining whether the oldest parent thread in said multi-processor system does not exist; and third processing for generating the child thread when it is determined by said first processing that the child thread does not exist, and when it is determined by said second processing that the oldest parent thread does not exist.
