A mobile telephone having a display device, the display device comprising: a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels comprising: a power source line; a first switch, a second switch and a third switch; a capacitor element having a pair of electrodes; and a light emitting element, wherein the power source line, the first switch, the second switch, the third switch and the light emitting element are electrically connected in series, and wherein one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is electrically connected between the first switch and the second switch.

2. A mobile telephone according to claim 1 , wherein the other one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is at a ground state.

3. A mobile telephone according to claim 1 , wherein the first switch, the second switch and the third switch comprise thin film transistors having a same conductivity type.

4. A mobile telephone according to claim 1 , wherein the first switch is connected to the power source line.

5. A mobile telephone according to claim 1 , wherein the third switch controls an electrical connection or no electrical connection between the light emitting element and the capacitor element.

A camera having a display device, the display device comprising: a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels comprising: a power source line; a first switch, a second switch and a third switch; a capacitor element having a pair of electrodes; and a light emitting element, wherein the power source line, the first switch, the second switch, the third switch and the light emitting element are electrically connected in series, and wherein one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is electrically connected between the first switch and the second switch.

7. A camera according to claim 6 , wherein the other one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is at a ground state.

8. A camera according to claim 6 , wherein the first switch, the second switch and the third switch comprise thin film transistors having a same conductivity type.

9. A camera according to claim 6 , wherein the first switch is connected to the power source line.

10. A camera according to claim 6 , wherein the third switch controls an electrical connection or no electrical connection between the light emitting element and the capacitor element.

A personal computer having a display device, the display device comprising: a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels comprising: a power source line; a first switch, a second switch and a third switch; a capacitor element having a pair of electrodes; and a light emitting element, wherein the power source line, the first switch, the second switch, the third switch and the light emitting element are electrically connected in series, and wherein one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is electrically connected between the first switch and the second switch.

13. A personal computer according to claim 12 , wherein the other one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is at a ground state.

14. A personal computer according to claim 12 , wherein the first switch, the second switch and the third switch comprise thin film transistors having a same conductivity type.

An image reproduction apparatus having a display device, the display device comprising: a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels comprising: a power source line; a first switch, a second switch and a third switch; a capacitor element having a pair of electrodes; and a light emitting element, wherein the power source line, the first switch, the second switch, the third switch and the light emitting element are electrically connected in series, and wherein one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is electrically connected between the first switch and the second switch.

18. An image reproduction apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein the other one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is at a ground state.

A goggle type display having a display device, the display device comprising: a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels comprising: a power source line; a first switch, a second switch and a third switch; a capacitor element having a pair of electrodes; and a light emitting element, wherein the power source line, the first switch, the second switch, the third switch and the light emitting element are electrically connected in series, and wherein one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is electrically connected between the first switch and the second switch.

23. A goggle type display according to claim 22 , wherein the other one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is at a ground state.

24. A goggle type display according to claim 22 , wherein the first switch, the second switch and the third switch comprise thin film transistors having a same conductivity type.

A device comprising: a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels comprising: a line; a first switch, a second switch and a third switch; a capacitor element having a pair of electrodes; and a pixel electrode, wherein the line, the first switch, the second switch, the third switch and the pixel electrode are electrically connected in series, and wherein one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is electrically connected between the first switch and the second switch.

28. A device according to claim 27 , wherein the other one of the pair of electrodes of the capacitor element is at a ground state.
