Legal claims defining the scope of protection, as filed with the USPTO.
1. A display device comprising: a first substrate; a driving portion formed on the first substrate; a plurality of signal lines formed on the first substrate to transmit signals to drive the driving portion, the signal lines extend in a first direction having a predetermined interval therebetween such that distances for each signal line from the driving portion are respectively different; a second substrate facing the first substrate; and a conductive member formed on the second substrate, wherein the driving portion overlaps with the conductive member, and the signal lines and the conductive member do not overlap wherein a distance between a pattern which is formed by projecting the conductive member to the first substrate and the signal line nearest the conductive member is larger than the interval between two neighboring signal lines.
2. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the signal lines transmit signals that are changed per period.
3. The display device of claim 2 , wherein the signals that are changed per period are clock signals.
4. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the conductive member is a light blocking member.
5. The display device of claim 4 , wherein the light blocking member is made of a metal or an organic material.
6. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the conductive member is a common electrode.
7. The display device of claim 1 , wherein an interval between two neighboring signal lines among the signal lines is at least about 10 μm.
8. The display device of claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of diverged lines with one end of each being respectively connected to a corresponding signal line among the signal lines and other ends thereof being connected to the driving portion, the plurality of diverged lines substantially extend in a second direction different from the first direction.
9. The display device of claim 8 , wherein at least some of the diverged lines include bent portions with a zigzag shape, and lengths of the bent portions with the zigzag shape are different from each other.
10. The display device of claim 9 , wherein the diverged lines overlap with the conductive member with different widths from each other.
