A method comprising: communicating a user interface to a client machine, the user interface offering a plurality of items that are respectively offered for sale at a plurality of network-based transaction systems, wherein each of the plurality of items comprises information and an associated link; communicating to a third party payment server information relating to at least one item from the plurality of network-based transaction systems for storage in a shopping cart on the third party payment server; receiving a user logoff command by the client machine resulting in the client machine going offline from the network; subsequent to going offline from the network, communicating to the client machine a purchase indication for at least one item; and without further user interaction: communicating to the third party payment server the information relating to the at least one item for storage in the shopping cart on the third party payment server; receiving at the third party payment server a message from the client machine, the message authorizing the purchase of the at least one item; debiting an account associated with the user by the third party payment server; and communicating a message from the third party payment server to the client machine and the plurality of the network-based transaction systems, the message confirming the purchase.
2. The method of claim 1 , comprising communicating from an external application a plug-in to the client machine, the plug-in including a tool bar and an icon, the plug-in configured to enable the client machine to display the tool bar and the icon and to store information relating to the plurality of items from the plurality of network-based transaction systems.
3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the storing the information on the client machine is responsive to one or more links being dragged to the icon.
4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the purchase indication comprises dragging at least one item to the icon on the client machine.
5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the user interface simultaneously offers the plurality of items from the plurality of network-based transaction systems.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the link is associated with an image.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the network-based transaction system comprises a commerce website.
8. The method of claim 1 , comprising communicating additional messages from the network-based transaction system to the client machine, the additional messages for display on the client machine.
9. The method of claim 1 , comprising communicating messages from the network-based transaction system to the third party payment server, and communicating the messages from the third party payment server to the client machine for display on the client machine.
10. The method of claim 1 , comprising, subsequent to going offline from the network and without further user interaction, enabling the client machine to serially log on to each one of the plurality of network-based transaction systems to acquire latest data on the plurality of items.
11. A system comprising: a communication processor to communicate a user interface to a client machine, the user interface offering a plurality of items that are respectively offered for sale at a plurality of network-based transaction systems, wherein each of the plurality of items comprises information and an associated link; a communication processor to transmit to a third party payment server the information relating to at least one item from the plurality of network-based transaction systems for storage in a shopping cart on the third party payment server; a processor configured for receiving a user logoff command by the client machine resulting in the client machine going offline from the network; subsequent to going offline from the network, a processor configured for communicating to the client machine a purchase indication by the user for at least one item; and without further user interaction: a processor configured for communicating to the third party payment server the information relating to the at least one item for storage in the shopping cart on the third party payment server; a processor configured for communicating a message from the client machine to the third party payment server, the message authorizing the purchase of the at least one item; a processor configured for debiting an account associated with the user by the third party payment server; and a processor configured for transmitting a message from the third party payment server to the client machine and the plurality of network-based transaction systems, the message confirming the purchase.
12. The system of claim 11 , comprising a communication processor to communicate from an external application a plug-in that includes a tool bar and an icon to a client machine, the plug-in configured to enable the client machine to display the tool bar and the icon and to store information relating to a plurality of items from a plurality of the network-based transaction systems.
13. The system of claim 12 , comprising a storage medium to store the information on the client machine responsive to one or more of the links being dragged to the icon.
14. The system of claim 12 , wherein the purchase indication comprises a processor configured for dragging at least one item to the icon on the client machine.
15. The system of claim 11 , wherein the user interface simultaneously offers the plurality of items from the plurality of network-based transaction systems.
16. The system of claim 11 , wherein the link is associated with an image.
17. The system of claim 11 , wherein the network-based transaction system comprises a commerce website.
18. The system of claim 11 , comprising a processor to communicate additional messages from the network-based transaction system to the client machine, the additional messages for display on the client machine.
19. The system of claim 11 , comprising a communication processor to communicate messages from the network-based transaction system to the third party payment server, and to communicate the messages from the third party payment server to the client machine for display on the client machine.

The system of claim 11 , comprising a processor configured to, subsequent to going offline from the network and without further user interaction, enable the client machine to serially log on to each one of the plurality of network-based transaction systems to acquire latest data on the plurality of items.
21. A tangible machine readable medium storing a set of instructions that, when executed by a machine, cause the machine to: communicate a user interface to a client machine, the user interface offering a plurality of items that are respectively offered for sale at a plurality of network-based transaction systems, wherein each of the plurality of items comprises information and an associated link; communicate to a third party payment server the information relating to the at least one item from the plurality of third party network-based transaction systems for storage in a shopping cart on the third party payment server; receive a user logoff command by the client machine resulting in the client machine going offline from the network; subsequent from going offline from the network, communicating to the client machine a purchase indication by the user for at least one item dragged to the icon by the client machine; and without further user interaction: communicate to the third party payment server the information relating to the at least one item for storage in the shopping cart on the third party payment server; communicate a message from the client machine to the third party payment server, the message authorizing the purchase of the at least one item; debit an account associated with the user by the third party payment server; and receive a message at the client machine and the plurality of network-based commerce systems from the third party payment server, the message confirming the purchase.
22. The machine readable medium of claim 21 , comprising instructions to communicate from an external application a plug-in to the client machine, the plug-in including a tool bar and an icon, the plug-in configured to enable the client machine to display the tool bar and the icon and to store information relating to the plurality of items from the plurality of network-based transaction systems.
23. The machine readable medium of claim 22 , wherein the storing the information on the client machine is responsive to one or more links being dragged to the icon.
24. The machine readable medium of claim 22 , wherein the purchase indication comprises instructions for dragging at least one item to the icon on the client machine.
25. The machine readable medium of claim 21 , wherein the user interface simultaneously offers the plurality of items from the plurality of network-based transaction systems.

A system, the system comprising: a first means for communicating a user interface to a client machine, the user interface offering a plurality of items that are respectively offered for sale at a plurality of network-based transaction systems, wherein each of the plurality of items comprises information and an associated link; a second means for storing the information on the client machine responsive to one or more of the links being dragged to the icon; a third means for communicating to a third party payment server the information relating to at least one item from the plurality of third party network-based transaction systems for storage in a shopping cart on the third party payment server; a fourth means for receiving a user logoff command by the client machine resulting in the client machine going offline from the network; subsequent to going offline from the network, a fifth means for receiving by the client machine a purchase indication by the user for at least one item; and without further user interaction: a sixth means for communicating to the third party payment server the stored information relating to the at least one item for storage in the shopping cart on the third party payment server; a seventh means for communicating a message from the client machine to the third party payment server, the message authorizing the purchase of the at least one item; an eighth means for debiting an account associated with the user by the third party payment server; and a ninth means for communicating a message from the third party payment server to the client machine and the plurality of network-based commerce systems, the message confirming the purchase.
32. A method comprising: communicating, to a first machine, a user interface that includes offering description information and offering identification information, the offering identification information comprising information associated with an offering for sale on a network-based transaction system; receiving and storing, on the first machine, offering identification information; communicating to a third party payment server the information relating to at least one item from the plurality of network-based transaction systems for storage in a shopping cart on the third party payment server; subsequent to going offline from the network, receiving by the client machine a purchase indication by the user for at least one item; and without further user interaction: communicating to the third party payment server the information relating to the at least one item for storage in the shopping cart on the third party payment server; communicating a message from the client machine to the third party payment server, the message authorizing the purchase of the at least one item; debiting an account associated with the user by the third party payment server; and communicating a message from the third party payment server to the client machine and the plurality of the network-based transaction systems, the message confirming the purchase.
33. A system comprising: a communication processor to communicate, to a first machine, a user interface, the user interface offering a plurality of items that are respectively offered for sale at a plurality of network-based transaction systems, wherein each of the plurality of items comprises information and an associated link; a storage medium to store, on the first machine, the information on the first machine; a communication processor to transmit to a third party payment server the information relating to the plurality of items from the plurality of network-based transaction systems for storage in a shopping cart on the third party payment server; a processor configured for receiving a user logoff command by the client machine resulting in the client machine going offline from the network; subsequent to going offline from the network, a processor configured for receiving by the client machine a purchase indication by the user for at least one item; and without further user interaction: a processor configured for communicating to the third party payment server the information relating to the at least one item for storage in the shopping cart on the third party payment server; a processor configured for communicating a message from the client machine to the third party payment server, the message authorizing the purchase of the at least one item; a processor configured for debiting an account associated with the user by the third party payment server; and a processor configured for communicating a message from the third party payment server to the client machine and the plurality of network-based transaction systems, the message confirming the purchase.
34. A method comprising: enabling a user to browse a plurality of network-based transaction sites; enabling the user to select a plurality of items from the plurality of network-based transaction sites; enabling the user to store the plurality of items on a client machine; and enabling the user to purchase one or more of the plurality of items stored on the client machine; wherein the enabling the user to store the plurality of items comprises: communicating a user interface to the client machine, the user interface offering a plurality of items that are respectively offered for sale at a plurality of network-based transaction systems, wherein each of the plurality of items comprises information and an associated link; communicating to a third party payment server the information relating to at least one item from the plurality of network-based commerce systems for storage in a shopping cart on the third party payment server; receiving a user logoff command by the client machine resulting in the client machine going offline from the network; subsequent to going offline from the network, receiving by the client machine a purchase indication by the user for at least one item; and without further user interaction: communicating to the third party payment server the information relating to the at least one item for storage in the shopping cart on the third party payment server; communicating a message from the client machine to the third party payment server, the message authorizing the purchase of the at least one item; debiting an account associated with the user by the third party payment server; and communicating a message from the third party payment server to the client machine and the plurality of network-based commerce systems, the message confirming the purchase.
35. The method of claim 34 , comprising: enabling the user to terminate a browsing session; and enabling the user to initiate another browsing session, access the stored plurality of items, and purchase one or more of the plurality of items.
36. The method of claim 35 , comprising: transmitting a message to one or more network-based transaction sites in order to retrieve current information relating to the at least one item.
37. The method of claim 35 , wherein the transmitting the message to the one or more network-based transaction sites occurs during the another browsing session.
38. The method of claim 34 , comprising: transmitting a message to the third party payment server; and receiving at the client machine a message from the third party payment server.
39. The method of claim 34 , comprising: enabling a user to examine the shopping cart on the client machine, the shopping cart including the plurality of items from a plurality of network-based transaction sites; and automatically serially logging onto one or more of the plurality of network-based transaction sites to retrieve current information regarding one or more of the plurality of items.
40. The method of claim 34 , comprising enabling a user to create the shopping cart on the third party payment server.
41. A method facilitating transaction automation comprising: receiving at a client machine a user interface, the user interface offering a plurality of items that are respectively offered for sale by a plurality of network-based commerce systems, wherein each of the plurality of items for sale comprises information and an associated link; storing the information on the client machine; communicating to a third party payment server the information relating to at least one item from the plurality of network-based commerce systems for storage in a shopping cart on the third party payment server; receiving a user logoff command by the client machine resulting in the client machine going offline from the network; subsequent to going offline from the network, receiving by the client machine a purchase indication by the user for at least one item; and without further user interaction: communicating to the third party payment server the information relating to the at least one item for storage in the shopping cart on the third party payment server; communicating a message from the client machine to the payment server, the message authorizing the purchase of the at least one item; debiting an account associated with the user by the third party payment server; and communicating a message from the third party payment server to the client machine and the plurality of network-based commerce systems, the message confirming the purchase.
42. A method comprising: communicating to a third party payment server information relating to at least one item from a plurality of network-based transaction systems for storage in a shopping cart on the third party payment server; receiving a user logoff command by a client machine resulting in the client machine going offline from a network; subsequent to going offline from the network, communicating to the client machine a purchase indication for at least one item; and without further user interaction: communicating to the third party payment server the information relating to the at least one item for storage in the shopping cart on the third party payment server; receiving at the third party payment server a message from the client machine, the message authorizing the purchase of the at least one item; debiting an account associated with the user by the third party payment server; and communicating a message from the third party payment server to the client machine and the plurality of the network-based transaction systems, the message confirming the purchase.

The method of claim 42 , comprising communicating a user interface to the client machine, the user interface offering a plurality of items that are respectively offered for sale at the plurality of network-based transaction systems, wherein each of the plurality of items comprises information and an associated link.
