A method for sharing photographic content via a portable device having a front-facing side and a rear-facing side, a processor, a printer, a lens disposed on the front-facing side, a first display disposed on the front-facing side and a second display disposed on the rear-facing side, a wireless interface; and a memory having executable instructions stored thereon, the method comprising: storing in the memory, displaying on the rear-facing display, and printing, via the portable device, photographs taken with the portable device, the photographs printed by the portable device with a unique scannable code associated with the user, an identification of the user on a social networking site, and the social networking site to follow the user; generating and uploading wirelessly to the social media site, via wireless interface of the portable device, social media content for a photograph feed associated with a first photograph taken with the portable device and at least one second photograph taken with another portable device, that are shared on the social network, the social media content comprising first geographical location data where the first photograph was taken with the portable device and second geographic location data where the second photograph was scanned with the portable device, receiving, at the portable device, activity information associated with the at least one second photograph from another portable device, the activity information comprising third geographical location data where the at least one second photograph was taken with the another portable device and fourth geographical location data where the at least second photograph was scanned with the another portable device, and movements and distances travelled by the photographs from the first and second locations and from the third and fourth locations based on the geographical data; and displaying on the rear-facing display at least one graphic user interface comprising the photograph feed associated with the first photograph and a photographic feed associated with the at least one second photograph, each of the photographic feeds including details of where the photograph associated with the feed has been seen based at least on the location data where a photograph was scanned with another portable device.
2. The method of claim 1 wherein the scannable code is operable to trigger the portable device to transmit the activity information to the another portable device.
3. The method of claim 1 wherein the activity information includes an indication of at least one of a scan of the photograph and a move of the photograph from the first location.
4. The method of claim 1 wherein the activity information includes at least one of an identification of one or more portable devices, identification of the user of the one or more portable devices, third party social media information associated with the one or more portable devices, and email information associated with the one or more portable devices.
5. The method of claim 1 wherein the scannable code is operable to direct portable devices to the social media content.
6. The method of claim 1 wherein the social media content includes tags, hashtags, comments, and an identification of a user associated with the photograph.
7. The method of claim 1 comprising: receiving post comments and positive indications for the photograph feed; and updating the social media content with the post comments and positive indications.
8. A system for sharing photographic content, the system comprising a portable device having a front-facing side and a rear-facing side, the portable device comprising: a processor; a printer; a lens disposed on the front-facing side; a first display disposed on the front-facing side and a second display disposed on the rear-facing side; a wireless interface; and a memory having executable instructions stored thereon that when executed by the processor cause the portable device to: store on the memory, display on the rear-facing display, and print photographs taken with the portable device, the photographs printed by the portable device with a unique scannable code associated with the user, an identification of the user on a social networking site, and the social networking site to follow the user; generate and upload wirelessly to the social media site social media content for a photograph feed associated with a first photograph taken with the portable device and at least one second photograph taken with another portable devices, that are shared on the social network, the social media content comprising first geographic location data where the first photograph was taken by the portable device and second geographic location data where the second photograph was scanned with the portable device; receive activity information associated with the at least one second photograph from another portable device, the activity information comprising third geographical location data where the at least one second photograph was taken with the another portable device and fourth geographic location data where the at least second photograph was scanned with the another portable device, movements and distances travelled by the photographs from the first and second locations and the third and fourth locations based on the geographical data; and display on the rear-facing display at least one graphic user interface comprising the photograph feed associated with the first photograph and a photographic feed associated with the at least one second photograph, each of the photographic feeds including details of where the photograph associated with the feed has been seen based at least on the location data where a photograph was scanned with another portable device.
9. The system of claim 8 wherein the scannable code is operable to trigger the portable device to transmit the activity information to the another portable device.
10. The system of claim 8 wherein the activity information includes an indication of at least one of a scan of the photograph and a move of the photograph from the first location.
11. The system of claim 8 wherein the activity information includes at least one of an identification of one or more portable devices, identification of the user of the one or more portable devices, third party social media information associated with the one or more portable devices, and email information associated with the one or more portable devices.
12. The system of claim 8 wherein the scannable code is operable to direct portable devices to the social media content.
13. The system of claim 8 wherein the social media content includes tags, hashtags, comments, and an identification of a user associated with the photograph.
14. The system of claim 8 wherein the processor is operable to: receive post comments and positive indications for the photograph feed; and update the social media content with the post comments and positive indications.
