Legal claims defining the scope of protection, as filed with the USPTO.
1. A method, comprising: receiving, by a system from a mobile device of a user via a network, a command to define a view for the mobile device of the user, the view having at least one mobilized object that includes one or more fields and that is configurable for the mobile device such that the view is customized for the mobile device including retrieving at least one value corresponding to the one or more fields of the at least one mobilized object; in response to receiving the command, generating, by the system, at least one instruction adapted to being utilized by the mobile device for retrieving from the system a configuration for the mobilized object which customizes the view for the mobile device; and in response to the system generating the at least one instruction, automatically pushing, by the system, the at least one instruction to the mobile device via the network; wherein the at least one instruction, when utilized by a processor of the mobile device, retrieves from the system the configuration for the mobilized object which customizes the view for the mobile device.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one instruction includes at least one controller instruction for a user interface controller on the mobile device.
3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the user interface controller includes logic for displaying a user interface corresponding to the view for the mobile device.
4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one value is capable of being processed to provide the view for the mobile device.
5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising storing the at least one instruction in a storage location associated with the user.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one instruction includes at least one unique identifier.
7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the at least one unique identifier is utilized for validation of the at least one instruction.
8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the mobile device utilizes the at least one unique identifier for performing the validation.
9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the mobile device utilizes the at least one instruction, at least substantially upon receipt thereof, to retrieve from the system the configuration for the mobilized object.
10. A non-transitory machine-readable medium carrying one or more sequences of instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to carry out the steps of: receiving, by a system from a mobile device of a user via a network, a command to define a view for the mobile device of the user, the view having at least one mobilized object that includes one or more fields and that is configurable for the mobile device such that the view is customized for the mobile device including retrieving at least one value corresponding to the one or more fields of the at least one mobilized object; in response to receiving the command, generating, by the system, at least one instruction adapted to being utilized by the mobile device for retrieving from the system a configuration for the mobilized object which customizes the view for the mobile device; and in response to the system generating the at least one instruction, automatically pushing, by the system, the at least one instruction to the mobile device via the network; wherein the at least one instruction, when utilized by a processor of the mobile device, retrieves from the system the configuration for the mobilized object which customizes the view for the mobile device.
11. An apparatus, comprising: a processor; and one or more stored sequences of instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to carry out the steps of: receiving, by a system from a mobile device of a user via a network, a command to define a view for the mobile device of the user, the view having at least one mobilized object that includes one or more fields and that is configurable for the mobile device such that the view is customized for the mobile device including retrieving at least one value corresponding to the one or more fields of the at least one mobilized object; in response to receiving the command, generating, by the system, at least one instruction adapted to being utilized by the mobile device for retrieving from the system a configuration for the mobilized object which customizes the view for the mobile device; and in response to the system generating the at least one instruction, automatically pushing, by the system, the at least one instruction to the mobile device via the network; wherein the at least one instruction, when utilized by a processor of the mobile device, retrieves from the system the configuration for the mobilized object which customizes the view for the mobile device.
12. A method for transmitting code for use in a multi-tenant database system on a transmission medium, the method comprising: transmitting code for receiving, by a system from a mobile device of a user via a network, a command to define a view for the mobile device of the user, the view having at least one mobilized object that includes one or more fields and that is configurable for the mobile device such that the view is customized for the mobile device including retrieving at least one value corresponding to the one or more fields of the at least one mobilized object; transmitting code for, in response to receiving the command, generating, by the system, at least one instruction adapted to being utilized by the mobile device for retrieving from the system a configuration for the mobilized object which customizes the view for the mobile device; and transmitting code for, in response to the system generating the at least one instruction, automatically pushing, by the system, the at least one instruction to the mobile device via the network; wherein the at least one instruction, when utilized by a processor of the mobile device, retrieves from the system the configuration for the mobilized object which customizes the view for the mobile device.
