Legal claims defining the scope of protection, as filed with the USPTO.
1. A method of transmitting control information by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication network, the method comprising: receiving, by the UE via a higher layer, a sounding reference signal (SRS) simultaneous transmission parameter; if the SRS simultaneous transmission parameter is true, transmitting, by the UE, an SRS, and, in cell specific SRS subframes of a primary component carrier, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) which coincides in a same subframe as the SRS, wherein the PUCCH using a shortened format carries at least one of a HARQ-ACK and a positive scheduling request (SR); and if the SRS simultaneous transmission parameter is false, transmitting, by the UE, the PUCCH which uses a normal PUCCH format and carries at least one of the HARQ-ACK and the positive SR, while not transmitting, in a secondary component carrier, the SRS which coincides in the same subframe as the PUCCH carrying at least one of the HARQ-ACK and the positive SR, wherein the transmitting of the PUCCH uses carrier aggregation to transmit the PUCCH via two or more of a plurality of component carriers (CCs) simultaneously, and one or more CCs of the plurality of CCs are assigned to the UE according to a CC capacity, and wherein the shortened PUCCH format is a shortened PUCCH format 1/1a/1b or a shortened PUCCH format 3.
2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: transmitting uplink data through a physical uplink shared channel (PUKE) in a subframe of at least one of the plurality of CCs.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the same subframe is one of a plurality of user equipment (UE)-specific subframes configured by a UE-speeific parameter.
4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the LT-specific parameter indicates a periodicity and offset of the plurality of UE-specific subframes.
5. The method of claim 1 , wherein a plurality of UT-specific subframes is a subset of a plurality of cell-specific subframes configured by a cell-specific parameter.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the same subframe is one of a plurality of cell-specific subframes configured by a cell-specific parameter.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein a bandwidth of part of or an entire single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) symbol is allocated to the transmission of the same subframe.
8. A user equipment (UE) for transmitting control information in a wireless communication network, the LT. comprising: a receiver; a transmitter; and a processor configured to: control the receiver to receive, by a higher layer, a sounding reference signal. (SRS) simultaneous transmission parameter, if the SRS simultaneous transmission parameter is true, control the transmitter to transmit an SRS, and, in cell specific SRS subframes of a primary component carrier, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) which coincides in a same subframe as the SRS, wherein the PUCCH using a shortened format carries at least one of a HARQ-ACK and a positive scheduling request (SR), and if the SRS simultaneous transmission parameter is false, control the transmitter to transmit the PUCCH Which uses a normal PUCCH format and carries at least one of the HARQ-ACK and the positive SR, while not transmitting, in a secondary component carrier, the SRS which coincides in the same subframe as the PUCCH carrying at least one of the HARQ-ACK and the positive SR, wherein the processor uses carrier aggregation to transmit the PUCCH via two or more of a plurality of component carriers (CCs) simultaneously, and one or more CCs of the plurality of CCs are assigned to the UE according to a CC capacity, and wherein the shortened PUCCH format is a shortened PUCCH format 1/1a/1b or a shortened PUCCH format 3.
9. The UE of claim 8 , wherein the processor is further configured to transmit uplink data through a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) in a subframe of at least one of the plurality of CCs.
10. The UE of claim 8 , wherein the same subframe is one of a plurality of user equipment (UE)-specific subframes configured by a UE-specific parameter.
11. The UE of claim 10 , wherein the UE-specific parameter indicates a periodicity and offset of the plurality of UE-specific subframes.
12. The UE of claim 8 , wherein a plurality of UE-specific subframes is a subset of a plurality of cell-specific subframes configured by a cell-specific parameter.
13. The UE of claim 8 , wherein the same subframe is one of a plurality of cell-specific subframes configured by a cell-specific parameter.
14. The UE of claim 8 , wherein a bandwidth of part of or an entire single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) symbol is allocated to the transmission of the same subframe.
