Methods and Systems for Modifying Bioactive Agent Use

1. A system comprising: at least one administration unit including at least: one or more dosages of at least one prescription medication; and at least one mobile electronic computing device, the at least one mobile electronic computing device including at least: at least one user interface; at least one wireless communication unit operable to communicate via the at least one wireless communication unit; at least one non-transitory storage medium including one or more executable instructions; and at least one processor operatively connected to the at least one non-transitory storage medium, the at least one processor configured to execute the one or more executable instructions to perform operations including at least: measuring at least one health parameter before, during or after stimulation including at least visual content and administration of a dosage amount of the at least one prescription medication; determining a new dosage amount of the at least one prescription medication for administration from the at least one administration unit at least partly based on the at least one measured health parameter; and outputting one or more instructions at one or more specified times to administer the new dosage amount of the at least one prescription medication from the at least one administration unit.

2. A system comprising: at least one monitoring unit configured to monitor at least one health parameter; and at least one smartphone device wirelessly linked with the at least one monitoring unit, the at least one smartphone device including at least: a display; a wireless communication unit; at least one storage medium including one or more executable instructions; and at least one processor operatively connected to the at least one storage medium, the at least one processor configured to execute the one or more executable instructions to perform operations including at least: measuring the at least one health parameter of an individual before, during, or after at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication; determining a new dosage amount of the at least one medication for administration to the individual at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured before, during, or after at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication; and controlling at least one output to present at one or more specified times at least one indication to administer the new dosage amount of the at least one medication.

The system of claim 2 , wherein the at least one monitoring unit comprises: a drug sensing unit, a physiological activity monitor, a brain activity measurement unit, a behavior monitor, an instrumentation monitor, a compliance reporting unit, a voice response module, a hearing test module, an imager, a wearable device, or a scale.

4. A computer process for controlling a smartphone device that includes at least a user interface, a wireless communication unit, at least one storage medium including one or more computer-executable instructions, and at least one computing device operatively connected to the at least one storage medium, the computer process including operations comprising: measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication; determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication; and outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring at least one health parameter of an individual using at least one of the following monitoring units: a drug sensing unit, a physiological activity monitor, a brain activity measurement unit, a behavior monitor, an instrumentation monitor, a compliance reporting unit, a voice response module, a hearing test module, an imager, or a scale.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring at least one parameter associated with at least one of the following in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication: physiological activity, compliance, voice response, hearing, pain, sweating, dizziness, lightheadedness, respiration, headache, fatigue, nausea, fever, heart rhythm, motor weakness, heart rate, physical attribute, disease, illness, bodily impairment, diagnosis, disorder, mental symptom, anxiety, appearance, behavior, depression, fear, inattention, mood, phobia, psychological test result, brain activity, cardiac activity, neural signals, mental impairment, psychotic disorder, eating disorder, developmental disorder, communication disorder, social disorder, personality disorder, mental diagnosis, panic, bipolar, schizophrenia, obsessive disorder, or PTSD.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring at least one health parameter of an individual using at least one of the following methodologies: self-assessment or score.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring at least one health parameter of an individual before, during, or after at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring at least one health parameter of an individual following implementation of at least one digital therapy application and during bioavailability of at least one medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with implementation of at least one of the following types of digital therapy applications: cognitive assessment tool, computer-implemented experience, computer game, social networking site, virtual experience, simulated reality, virtual tour, interactive virtual world, or educational experience.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with administration of at least one of the following types of medications: bioactive agent, prescription medication, dietary supplement, enteral, parenteral, transdermal, inhalation, analgesic, anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, anti-manic, mood stabilizer, stimulant, sleeping agent, attention deficit, anti-addiction, schizophrenia, or anti-psychotic.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication comprises: determining at least one of the following types of modifications in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication: access, object, sound, content, or music.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication comprises: determining a new agent, amount, or delivery method of the at least one medication at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication comprises: determining a new dosage of the at least one medication and a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication comprises: determining a new dosage of the at least one medication to achieve an effective dose based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication comprises: determining a modification in the at least one digital therapy application to reduce a side effect or increase efficacy of the at least one medication at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application comprises: outputting at one or more times based on medication bioavailability at least one indication to implement the at least one modified digital therapy application.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application comprises: outputting at one or more relative staggered times at least one indication to administer the new dosage of the at least one medication and to implement the at least one modified digital therapy application.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application comprises: controlling at least one administration unit to administer the new dosage of the at least one medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application comprises: presenting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application comprises: outputting via the wireless communication unit at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring pain of an individual in association with administration of at least one pain medication, wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication includes, but is not limited to, determining a modification in the at least one digital therapy application to increase distraction to the individual, and wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application includes, but is not limited to, outputting at least one indication to implement the at least one modified digital therapy application to increase distraction to the individual at one or more staggered times relative to administration of the pain medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring depression of an individual in association with administration of at least one anti-depressant medication, wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication includes, but is not limited to, determining a modification in the at least one digital therapy application to increase mood of the individual, and wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application includes, but is not limited to, outputting at least one indication to implement the at least one modified digital therapy application to increase mood of the individual in association with administration of the anti-depressant medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring heart rate of an individual in association with administration of at least one anti-anxiety medication, wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication includes, but is not limited to, determining a modification in the at least one digital therapy application to increase exposure of the individual to at least one specified anxiety-inducing situation, and wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application includes, but is not limited to, outputting at least one indication to implement the at least one modified digital therapy application to increase exposure of the individual to the at least one specified anxiety-inducing situation in association with administration of the anti-anxiety medication.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring heart rate of an individual in association with administration of at least one anti-anxiety medication and implementation of at least one digital therapy application, wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication includes, but is not limited to, determining a reduced dosage amount of the anti-anxiety medication based on a detected reduction in measured heart rate of the individual, and wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application includes, but is not limited to, outputting at least one indication to administer the reduced dosage amount of the anti-anxiety medication in response to the detected reduction in measured heart rate.

The computer process of claim 4 , wherein the measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with at least one of implementation of at least one digital therapy application or administration of at least one medication comprises: measuring at least one health parameter of an individual in association with administration of at least one attention deficit medication, wherein the determining at least one of a new dosage of the at least one medication or a modification in the at least one digital therapy application at least partly based on the at least one health parameter measured in association with at least one of implementation of the at least one digital therapy application or administration of the at least one medication includes, but is not limited to, determining a voice or rhythm modification in the at least one digital therapy application based on the at least one measured health parameter, and wherein the outputting at one or more times at least one indication to at least one of administer the new dosage of the at least one medication or implement the at least one modified digital therapy application includes, but is not limited to, outputting at least one indication to implement the at least one modified digital therapy application having the voice or rhythm modification in association with administration of the attention-deficit medication.

A computer process for controlling a smartphone device that includes at least a display, a wireless communication unit, memory, and a processor component, the computer process including operations comprising: obtaining at least one measurement of at least one health parameter of an individual in association with administration of at least one medication; determining a new dosage of the at least one medication at least partly based on the at least one measurement of the at least one health parameter obtained in association with administration of the at least one medication; and monitoring the at least one health parameter of the individual at least partly in response to administration of the new dosage of the at least one medication.

The computer process of claim 27 , wherein the obtaining at least one measurement of at least one health parameter of an individual in association with administration of at least one medication comprises: obtaining at least one measurement of pain of an individual in association with administration of at least one pain medication, wherein the determining a new dosage of the at least one medication at least partly based on the at least one measurement of the at least one health parameter obtained in association with administration of the at least one medication includes, but is not limited to, determining a new dosage of the at least one pain medication at least partly based on the at least one measurement of pain obtained in association with administration of the at least one pain medication, wherein the computer process further includes, but is not limited to, implementing at least one stimulus at one or more staggered times relative to administration of the new dosage of the at least one pain medication to distract the individual from pain.

The computer process of claim 27 , wherein the obtaining at least one measurement of at least one health parameter of an individual in association with administration of at least one medication comprises: obtaining at least one measurement of depression of an individual in association with administration of at least one anti-depressant medication, wherein the determining a new dosage of the at least one medication at least partly based on the at least one measurement of the at least one health parameter obtained in association with administration of the at least one medication includes, but is not limited to, determining a new dosage of the at least one anti-depressant medication at least partly based on the at least one measurement of depression obtained in association with administration of the at least one anti-depressant medication, wherein the computer process further includes, but is not limited to, implementing at least one stimulus at one or more staggered times relative to administration of the new dosage of the at least one anti-depressant medication to increase mood of the individual.

The computer process of claim 27 , wherein the obtaining at least one measurement of at least one health parameter of an individual in association with administration of at least one medication comprises: obtaining at least one measurement of heart rate of an individual in association with administration of at least one anti-anxiety medication, wherein the determining a new dosage of the at least one medication at least partly based on the at least one measurement of the at least one health parameter obtained in association with administration of the at least one medication includes, but is not limited to, determining a new dosage of the at least one anti-anxiety medication at least partly based on the at least one measurement of heart rate obtained in association with administration of the at least one anti-anxiety medication, wherein the computer process further includes, but is not limited to, implementing at least one stimulus at one or more staggered times relative to administration of the new dosage of the at least one anti-anxiety medication to expose the individual to a simulated anxiety-inducing experience.

The computer process of claim 27 , wherein the obtaining at least one measurement of at least one health parameter of an individual in association with administration of at least one medication comprises: obtaining at least one measurement of focus of an individual in association with administration of at least one attention-deficit medication, wherein the determining a new dosage of the at least one medication at least partly based on the at least one measurement of the at least one health parameter obtained in association with administration of the at least one medication includes, but is not limited to, determining a new dosage of the at least one attention-deficit medication at least partly based on the at least one measurement of focus obtained in association with administration of the at least one attention-deficit medication, wherein the computer process further includes, but is not limited to, implementing at least one sound with at least one attribute selected based on the at least one measurement of focus, at one or more staggered times relative to administration of the new dosage of the at least one attention-deficit medication.

32. A method comprising: measuring, by a processor, at least one health parameter of an individual before, during or after implementation of at least one computer-implemented experience and administration of a dosage of at least one prescription medication; determining, by the processor, a new dosage amount of the at least one prescription medication for administration from at least one administration unit at least partly based on the at least one measured health parameter; and controlling, by the processor, the at least one administration unit to administer the new dosage amount of the at least one prescription medication at one or more specified times.
