1

1. A method for generating a display of magnified information presented in a terminal chart composed of a plurality of objects representing data in the terminal chart, wherein each object of the plurality of objects is uniquely identified by corresponding boundary coordinates for corresponding ones of the plurality of objects, wherein a corresponding category is assigned to corresponding ones of the plurality of objects based on a corresponding context of corresponding information provided within the corresponding ones of the plurality of objects, whereby a plurality of categories is associated with ones of the plurality of objects of the terminal chart, the method comprising: receiving, at a processor unit, a selection of an area of the terminal chart to form a selected area; identifying, by the processor unit, coordinates of the terminal chart for the selected area; assigning, by the processor unit, a category, from the plurality of categories, to the selected area using the coordinates based on the corresponding category; identifying a number of objects in the selected area that are assigned to the category using the processor unit; compiling the number of objects in a contiguous format to form display information using the processor unit; enlarging the display information to a selected size on a display device to form enlarged display information; and displaying the enlarged display information on the display device.

2

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein enlarging the display information to the selected size further comprises: identifying display parameters for the display device; and configuring the display information to fit the display parameters identified.

3

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the display parameters are selected from at least one of a size of a display screen, a resolution, an aspect ratio, a dot pitch, or a contrast ratio.

4

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein displaying the enlarged display information further comprises: generating a new window for the enlarged display information; and displaying the new window over existing windows on the display device.

5

5. An apparatus comprising: a bus system; a display device connected to the bus; a storage device connected to the bus system, wherein program code is stored in a functional form in the storage device; and a processor unit, wherein the processor unit executes the program code to generate a display of magnified information presented in a terminal chart composed of a plurality of objects representing data in the terminal chart, wherein each object of the plurality of objects is uniquely identified by corresponding boundary coordinates for corresponding ones of the plurality of objects, wherein a corresponding category is assigned to corresponding ones of the plurality of objects based on a corresponding context of corresponding information provided within the corresponding ones of the plurality of objects, whereby a plurality of categories is associated with ones of the plurality of objects of the terminal chart, and wherein the processor unit is further configured to execute the program code to: receive a selection of an area of the terminal chart to form a selected area; identify coordinates of the terminal chart for the selected area; assign a category, from the plurality of categories, to the selected area using the coordinates based on the corresponding category; identify a number of objects in the selected area that are assigned to the category; compile the number of objects in a contiguous format to form display information; enlarge the display information to a selected size to form enlarged display information and display the enlarged display information on the display device.

6

6. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein in executing the program code to enlarge the display information to the selected size, the processor unit further executes the program code to identify display parameters for the display device; and configures the display information to fit the display parameters identified.

7

7. The apparatus of claim 6 wherein the display parameters are selected from at least one of a size of a display screen, a resolution, an aspect ratio, a dot pitch, or a contrast ratio.

8

8. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein in executing the program code to display the enlarged display information the processor unit further executes the program code to generate a new window for the enlarged display information; and display the new window over existing windows on the display device.

9

9. A computer program product comprising: a non-transitory computer recordable media storing program code which, when executed by a processor unit, is configured to generate a display of magnified information presented in a terminal chart composed of a plurality of objects representing data in the terminal chart, wherein each object of the plurality of objects is uniquely identified by corresponding boundary coordinates for corresponding ones of the plurality of objects, wherein a corresponding category is assigned to corresponding ones of the plurality of objects based on a corresponding context of corresponding information provided within the corresponding ones of the plurality of objects, whereby a plurality of categories is associated with ones of the plurality of objects of the terminal chart, and wherein the program code further comprises: a first computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for receiving, at a processor unit, a selection of an area of the terminal chart to form a selected area; a second computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for identifying, by the processor unit, coordinates of the terminal chart for the selected area; a third computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for assigning, by the processor unit, a category, from the plurality of categories, to the selected area using the coordinates based on the corresponding category; a fourth computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for identifying a number of objects in the selected area that are assigned to the category using the processor unit; a fifth computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for compiling the number of objects in a contiguous format to form display information; a sixth computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for enlarging the display information to a selected size on a display device to form enlarged display information; and a seventh computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for displaying the enlarged display information on the display device.

10

10. The computer program product of claim 9 , wherein enlarging the display information to the selected size further comprises: an eighth computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for identifying display parameters for the display device; and a ninth computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for configuring the display information to fit the display parameters identified.

11

11. The computer program product of claim 10 , wherein the display parameters are selected from at least one of a size of a display screen, a resolution, an aspect ratio, a dot pitch, or a contrast ratio.

12

12. The computer program product of claim 9 , wherein displaying the enlarged display information further comprises: an eighth computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for generating a new window for the enlarged display information; and a ninth computer usable program code, stored on the non-transitory computer recordable media, for displaying the new window over existing windows on the display device.
