A method for managing a networked secure collaborative computer data exchange environment, the method comprising: establishing, by a secure exchange server hosted by an intermediate business entity, a user login data authentication procedure that allows one or more users through at least one client computing device to access the secure exchange server, wherein at least one of the one or more users is of a second business entity, wherein communications between the secure exchange server and each of the one or more users is through a communications network; storing, by the secure exchange server, data relating to at least one user login authentication for the at least one user of the second business entity; receiving computer data content from at least one user of a third business entity; receiving from at least one user of the third business entity an indication of permission for the at least one user of the second business entity to access the computer data content, wherein the indication of permission includes a content retention restriction that is tagged to the computer data content to create retention restricted computer data content; by the secure exchange server, permitting access to the retention restricted computer data content to the at least one user of the second business entity through an exchange content access facility, wherein the exchange content access facility is hosted by the intermediate business entity; and by the secure exchange server, granting access to the retention restricted computer data content to the at least one user of the second business entity when the secure exchange server receives the login authentication data, wherein the retention restricted computer data content is accessible to the at least one user of the second business entity as limited by the content retention restriction, wherein the content retention restriction is a viewing restriction of the retention restricted computer data content, wherein the viewing restriction is a restriction on viewing the retention restricted computer data content on a mobile device, wherein the restriction on viewing is a time limit for viewing the retention restricted computer data content on the mobile device.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content retention restriction is a duration of time the at least one user of the second business entity can access the retention restricted computer data content.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content retention restriction is an event after which the at least one user of the second business entity cannot access the retention restricted computer data content.
4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the event is an event planning event.
5. The method of claim 3 , wherein the event is the at least one user of the second business entity declining an offer.
6. The method of claim 3 , wherein the event is an e-signature applied to the retention restricted computer data content.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the viewing restriction is a time limit for viewing the retention restricted computer data content.
8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content retention restriction is a restriction on forwarding the retention restricted computer data content.
9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content retention restriction is a restriction on printing the retention restricted computer data content.
10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content retention restriction is a restriction on copying the retention restricted computer data content.
11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content retention restriction limits the amount of time the retention restricted computer data content is available without viewing.
12. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content retention restriction is tracked by the secure exchange server.
