Legal claims defining the scope of protection, as filed with the USPTO.
1. A method comprising: receiving identification information from a transaction card at a transaction machine, the transaction card being associated with an account holder using the transaction machine, the account holder associated with an account at a financial institution; accessing, using the identification information, activity profile information for the account holder from an account database of a financial institution computing system of the financial institution; monitoring the account holder's transaction machine usage; storing activity profile information related to the account holder's transaction machine usage in the account database; and generating, by the transaction machine, a custom sequence of user interfaces to be displayed to the account holder based on the account holder's activity profile information and based on the type of transaction the account holder initiates; wherein the custom sequence of user interfaces to be displayed to the account holder is based on the time of day the account holder accesses the transaction machine.
2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein generating the custom sequence of user interfaces comprises determining whether to permit the account holder to make chained transactions without re-authenticating based on the account holder's activity profile information.
3. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the transaction machine automatically ejects the account holder's transaction card after a single transaction is performed.
4. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the activity profile information comprises sequencing information based on the account holder attempting multiple transactions during previous transaction machine sessions.
5. The method according to claim 4 , and further comprising: providing an option on one of the user interfaces that allows the account holder to change a setting relating to the custom sequence of user interfaces, wherein the setting allows the account holder to make multiple transactions during the transaction machine session.
6. The method according to claim 1 , and further comprising: transmitting a notification to the account holder prior to a change occurring to the account holder's activity profile information.
7. A system for financial transactions, comprising: a display configured to display screen content; a dispensing device configured to dispense currency; a deposit device configured to receive a deposit of currency; a transaction card reader receiving identification information from a transaction card, the transaction card being associated with an account holder using the automated teller machine, the account holder associated with an account at a financial institution; a user interface generation logic configured to access activity profile information for the account holder from an account database of a financial institution computing system of the financial institution, initiate a transaction machine session, and monitor the account holder's transaction machine usage; a data storage system configured to store activity profile information in the account database related to the account holder's transaction machine usage; and the user interface generation logic configured to eject the account holder's transaction card and end the transaction machine session after a predetermined number of transactions, wherein the predetermined number of transactions is based on the account holder's activity profile information.
8. The system for financial transactions according to claim 7 , wherein the activity profile information includes information relating to the account holder making multiple transactions during previous transaction machine sessions.
9. The system for financial transactions according to claim 7 , wherein the transaction machine automatically ejects the account holder's transaction card and ends the transaction machine session after a single transaction is performed.
10. The system for financial transactions according to claim 7 , wherein the predetermined number of transactions is based on an initial transaction type made during the transaction machine session.
11. The system for financial transactions according to claim 10 , wherein the user interface generation logic is further configured to generate an option for the account holder to change a setting relating to the account holder's activity profile information, wherein the setting allows the account holder to make multiple transactions during the transaction machine session.
12. The system for financial transactions according to claim 7 , and further comprising: alert generation logic configured to transmit a notification to the account holder prior to a change occurring to the account holder's activity profile information.
13. The system for financial transactions according to claim 7 , wherein the predetermined number of transactions is based on the time of day the account holder accesses the transaction machine.
14. A method comprising: receiving identification information from a transaction card at a transaction machine, the transaction card being associated with an account holder using the transaction machine, the transaction card associated with an account at a financial institution; accessing, using the identification information, activity profile information for the account holder from an account database of a financial institution computing system of the financial institution; and ejecting the account holder's transaction card and ending the transaction machine session after a predetermined number of transactions, wherein the predetermined number of transactions is based on the account holder's activity profile information.
15. The method according to claim 14 , wherein the activity profile information includes information relating to the account holder making multiple transactions during previous transaction machine sessions.
16. The method according to claim 14 , wherein the transaction machine automatically ejects the account holder's transaction card and ends the transaction machine session after a single transaction is performed.
17. The method according to claim 14 , wherein the predetermined number of transactions is based on an initial transaction type made during the transaction machine session.
18. The method according to claim 17 , and further comprising: providing an option on one of the user interfaces that allows the account holder to change a setting relating to the account holder's activity profile information, wherein the setting allows the account holder to make multiple transactions during the transaction machine session.
19. The method according to claim 14 , and further comprising: transmitting a notification to the account holder prior to a change occurring to the account holder's activity profile information.
