Legal claims defining the scope of protection, as filed with the USPTO.
1. A method comprising: receiving registration information and payment transaction specifications from an access portal comprising a computing device, the registration information including associated authentication data of a customer and identifying a payment source; storing the transaction specifications in a distribution profile generated at a data center, based on the registration information; staging one or more staged send transactions in the distribution profile, based on the transaction specifications; identifying one or more of the transaction specifications in the distribution profile in response to an initiation instruction and the associated authentication data, wherein a token is presented by the customer as part of the initiation instruction and the distribution profile is only available for use if the authentication data are correctly presented; verifying a status of the payment source for funding one or more of the staged send transactions according to the identified transaction specification, wherein the payment source is funded by payment at an agent location; and initiating the one or more staged send transactions for delivery of one or more send amounts based on the status of the payment source at a time the send transaction is initiated, wherein delivery of the send amount is initiated only after the payment source is funded.
2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising presenting a menu of transaction types that the data center supports, wherein the transaction types are selectable by the customer.
3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the transaction types include one or more of money transfers, transfers to a bank account, transfers to a debit card, and transfers for bill payment.
4. The method of claim 2 , further comprising implementing a security filter logic to permit or prevent the initiation of transaction types selectable by the customer at the access portal.
5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising confirmation of fulfillment of the transaction and updating settlement data in connection with the fulfillment.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the token is displayed on a mobile device or mobile computer interface.
7. The method of claim 6 , wherein attributes of the token are stored in the mobile device or mobile computer interface and the token is presented by the customer at the agent location.
8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the send amount is set at a time of the initiation instruction and is not included in the one or more identified transaction specifications.
9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transaction specifications define a payment sequence that includes a timing and a number of transactions.
10. A transaction system comprising: a computing device configured to receive registration information and payment transaction specifications, the registration information including associated authentication data of a customer and identifying a payment source a database configured to store a distribution profile based on the registration information, wherein the transaction specifications are stored in the distribution profile; and a controller configured to: stage one or more send transactions in the distribution profile, based on the transaction specifications; identify one or more of the transaction specifications stored in the distribution profile in response to an initiation instruction and the associated authentication data received from the customer at an agent location, wherein a token is presented by the customer as part of the initiation instruction and the distribution profile is only available for use if the authentication data are correctly presented; verify a status of the payment source for funding one of the staged send transactions according to the identified transaction specification, wherein the payment source is funded by payment at the agent location; and initiate the staged send transaction for delivery of a send amount based on the payment source having available funds for the delivery at a time the send transaction is initiated, wherein delivery of the send amount is initiated only after the payment source is funded.
11. The transaction system of claim 10 , wherein the access portal is further configured to present to the customer a menu of transaction types that the data center supports.
12. The transaction system of claim 11 , wherein the transaction types include one or more of money transfers, transfers to a bank account, transfers to a debit card, and transfers for bill payment.
13. The transaction system of claim 11 , wherein the controller is further configured to implement a security filter logic to permit or prevent the initiation of transaction types selectable by the customer at the access portal.
14. The transaction system of claim 10 , wherein the controller is further configured to confirm fulfillment of the transaction and update settlement data in connection therewith.
15. The transaction system of claim 10 , wherein the token is displayed on a mobile device or mobile computer interface.
16. The transaction system of claim 10 , wherein the transaction specifications define a payment sequence that includes a timing and a number of transactions.
17. A method comprising: presenting a menu of transaction types on an access portal comprising a computing device, wherein the transaction types are selectable by a customer; receiving registration information and payment transaction specifications from the access portal, the registration information including associated authentication data of the customer and identifying a payment source; storing the transaction specifications in a distribution profile generated at a data center, based on the registration information; staging one or more staged send transactions in the distribution profile, based on the transaction specifications; identifying one or more of the transaction specifications in the distribution profile in response to an initiation instruction and the associated authentication data, wherein a token presented by the customer as part of the initiation instruction and the distribution profile is only available for use if the authentication data are correctly presented; verifying a status of the payment source for funding one of the staged send transactions, according to the identified transaction specification, wherein the payment source is funded by payment at an agent location; and initiating the staged send transaction for delivery of a send amount based on the status of the payment source at a time the send transaction is initiated, wherein delivery of the send amount is initiated only after the payment source is funded.
18. The method of claim 17 , wherein the transaction types include one or more of money transfers, transfers to a bank account, transfers to a debit card, and transfers for bill payment.
19. The method of claim 17 , further comprising confirmation of fulfillment of the transaction and updating settlement data in connection therewith.
20. The method of claim 17 , wherein attributes of the token are stored in a mobile device or mobile computer interface and the token is presented by the customer at the agent location.
