Technical Abstract

A transmitting apparatus according to one aspect of the present disclosure transmits a plurality of first transmission data and a plurality of second transmission data by using an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing) method. The transmitting apparatus includes frame configuring circuitry, which in operation, generates a frame including a first period in which a preamble is transmitted, a second period in which the plurality of first transmission data is multiplexed by a time division multiplexing method and is transmitted, and a third period in which the plurality of second transmission data is multiplexed by a frequency division multiplexing method and is transmitted; and transmitting circuitry that transmits the frame.

1. A transmitting method comprising: generating a frame by allocating time-frequency resources to a plurality of data symbol groups; inserting pilot signals into the frame; generating an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) signal by performing an Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) process to the pilot inserted frame; and transmitting the OFDM signal, wherein the frame includes a preamble and the plurality of data symbol groups, to each of the plurality of data symbol groups, time-frequency resources corresponding to a part of frequency among an entirety of the frequency of the frame is allocated, and the preamble carries control information, for each of the plurality of data symbol groups, specifying the time-frequency resources allocated to the data symbol group, the control information of each data symbol group indicates at least a head position in time, a head position in frequency and the number of time resources, of the time-frequency resources allocated to the data symbol group in the frame.

2. A receiving method comprising: receiving an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) signal, where the OFDM signal is generated by inserting pilot signals into a frame and performing an Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) process to the pilot inserted frame, the frame includes a preamble and a plurality of data symbol groups, to each of the plurality of data symbol groups, time-frequency resources corresponding to a part of frequency among an entirety of the frequency of the frame is allocated, and the preamble carries control information, for each of the plurality of data symbol groups, specifying the time-frequency resources allocated to the data symbol group; acquiring the control information from the preamble; and demodulating at least one of the plurality of data symbol groups based on the control information, wherein the control information of each data symbol group indicates at least a head position of time, a head position of frequency and the number of time resources, of the time-frequency resources allocated to the data symbol group in the frame.

3. A transmitting apparatus comprising: a frame configuring circuitry, that in operation, generates a frame by allocating time-frequency resources to a plurality of data symbol groups; a signal processing circuitry, that in operation, inserts pilot signals into the frame and generates an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) signal by performing an Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) process to the pilot inserted frame; and transmitting circuitry, that in operation, transmits the OFDM signal, wherein the frame includes a preamble and the plurality of data symbol groups, to each of the plurality of data symbol groups, time-frequency resources corresponding to a part of frequency among an entirety of the frequency of the frame is allocated, and the preamble carries control information, for each of the plurality of data symbol groups, specifying the time-frequency resources allocated to the data symbol group, the control information of each data symbol group indicates at least a head position in time, a head position in frequency and the number of time resources, of the time-frequency resources allocated to the data symbol group in the frame.

4. A receiving apparatus comprising: receiving circuitry, that in operation, receives an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) signal, where the OFDM signal is generated by inserting pilot signals into a frame and performing an Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) process to the pilot inserted frame, the frame includes a preamble and a plurality of data symbol groups, to each of the plurality of data symbol groups, time-frequency resources corresponding to a part of frequency among an entirety of the frequency of the frame is allocated, and the preamble carries control information, for each of the plurality of data symbol groups, specifying the time-frequency resources allocated to the data symbol group; a preamble processing circuitry, that in operation, acquires the control information from the preamble; and a demodulating circuitry, that in operation, demodulates at least one of the plurality of data symbol groups based on the control information, wherein the control information of each data symbol group indicates at least a head position of time, a head position of frequency and the number of time resources, of the time-frequency resources allocated to the data symbol group in the frame.
