Systems, methods, and tangible computer-readable storage mediums for tracking collaboration are presented. More particularly, embodiments relate to providing, using a processor, an environment for collaboration between users; and tracking, using the processor, information regarding the collaboration; such that the tracked information includes rights information regarding rights of the collaborating users. Some further embodiments include storing, in a non-transient, computer-readable storage medium, the rights information. Some further embodiments include determining compensation for at least one user based on the rights information. Some further embodiments include: storing, in a non-transient, computer-readable storage medium, initial content; and storing, in the storage medium, additional content, such that the additional content builds on the initial content.

A system of updating a working profile, comprising: an environment on a communication network for collaboration between a plurality of users on one or more works accessible by a processor; and a non-transient, computer-readable storage medium that is operatively coupled to the processor, each configured to store information regarding at least one of the works in the non-transient, computer-readable storage medium; the processor further configured to: receive input data including at least a portion of one or more source works, and store the input data into a master profile associated with the portion of the one or more source works, the portion of the one or more source works including initial content for use in at least one collaboration of at least three users to form the at least one work, the master profile including at least one working profile for the at least one work, where the at least one work is stored in the master profile in association with at least one working profile; receive input data associated with one or more agreements associated with the at least one or more working profiles, and store the input data, wherein the one or more agreements are by at least two users of the at least three users for the at least one work associated with the at least one working profile, wherein the input data relates to at least one aspect of the at least one work associated with one or more working profiles; and access, in the master profile, data associated with at least one work that is based on the portion of the source work inputted into the master profile, each work including additional content provided by at least one of the at least three users or one or more modifications of the source work by the at least one of the at least three users, in accordance with the at least one agreement associated with the at least one working profile for the at least one work.
2. The system of updating a profile of claim 1 , where one of at least three users belongs to a group.
3. The system of updating a profile of claim 2 , where the group has members with predetermined permissions.
4. The system of updating a profile of claim 1 , where the at least one work is associated with a game.
5. The system of updating a profile of claim 4 , where work records data associated with the game.
6. The system of updating a profile of claim 1 , where the at least one work is associated with a first game and a second work is associated with a second game.
7. The system of updating a profile of claim 1 , where the at least one work comprises a game performance resulting from content provided by a plurality of users.
8. The system of updating a profile of claim 7 , where the game performance is provided by a processor controlled device.
9. The system of updating a profile of claim 1 , where one or more working profile copies reside separately from the working profile accessible by a remote processor located in the communication network; and an update to the one or more working profile copies by the remote processor occurs in response to a change in the working profile.
10. The system of updating a profile of claim 9 , where the update to the at least one working profile is secured.
11. The system of updating a profile of claim 9 , where the update to the at least one working profile is secured by a digital signature.
12. The system of updating a profile of claim 9 , where the update to the at least one working profile indicates that work is closed to further collaboration.
13. The system of updating a profile of claim 12 , where closure to further collaboration further includes data security.
14. The system of updating a profile of claim 12 , where the update to the working profile is secured by at least one digital signature.
15. The system of updating a profile of claim 1 , including at least one working profile copy being updated by at least one remote processor to match at least one updated working profile in response to the remote processor receiving update information regarding the at least one updated working profile via the communication network.
16. The system of updating a profile of claim 1 , where the working profile includes security of the working profile.
17. The system of updating a profile of claim 1 , where at least one user is an artificial intelligence (AI) device.
18. The system of updating a profile of claim 1 , where the at least one work comprises a crowdfunding campaign.
19. A method of updating a working profile, comprising: accessing with a processor an environment on a communication network for collaboration between a plurality of users on one or more works; and receiving input data including at least a portion of at least one source works, and storing the input data into a master profile associated with the portion of the at least one source works, the portion of the at least one source work including initial content for use in at least one collaboration of at least three users to form the at least one work, the master profile including at least one working profile for the at least one work, where the at least one work is stored in the master profile in association with the at least one working profile; receiving input data associated with at least one agreement associated with the at least one working profile, and storing the input data, wherein the at least one agreement is between at least two users of the at least three users for the at least one work associated with the working profile, wherein the input data relates to at least one aspect of the at least one work associated with the at least one working profile; and accessing data associated with at least one work in the master profile, that is based on the portion of the one or more source works inputted into the master profile, the at least one work including additional content provided by at least one of the at least three users or one or more modifications of the one or more source works by at least one of the at least three users, in accordance with the agreement associated with the working profile for the at least one work.
20. The method for updating a profile of claim 19 , where one of at least three users belongs to a group.
21. The method for updating a profile of claim 20 , includes setting predetermined permissions for the members of the group.
22. The method for updating a profile of claim 19 , where the at least one work is associated with a game.
23. The method for updating a profile of claim 22 , includes associating records for the at least one work with the game.
24. The method for updating a profile of claim 19 , includes associating the at least one of work with a first game and a second work is associated with a second game.
25. The method for updating a profile of claim 19 , where the at least one work comprises a game performance resulting from content provided by a plurality of users.
26. The method for updating a profile of claim 19 , where the game performance is provided by a processor controlled device.

The method for updating a profile of claim 19 , including storing a working profile copy separate from the working profile accessible by a remote processor located in the communication network; and updating the working profile copy by the remote processor in response to a change in the working profile.
28. The method of updating a profile of claim 19 , including securing the at least one working profile.
29. The method of updating a profile of claim 19 , including securing the at least one working profile with at least one digital signature.
30. The method for updating a profile of claim 19 , includes securing the working profile copy by the at least one remote processor with an e-signature.
