The present invention discloses a method for a user equipment to receive system information in a wireless communication system. Particularly, the method is characterized in detecting a first synchronization signal block configured with a Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS), a Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS) and a Physical Broadcasting Channel (PBCH) at a specific frequency position, determining a presence or non-presence of system information corresponding to the first synchronization signal block within a first synchronization raster corresponding to a specific frequency position based on a system information indicator included in the PBCH, and if the system information corresponding to the first synchronization signal block is determined as not existing, determining a second synchronization raster having system information exist therein based on the system information indicator.
Legal claims defining the scope of protection, as filed with the USPTO.
1. A method of receiving Remaining Minimum System Information (RMSI) by a user equipment (UE) in wireless communication, the method comprising: detecting, at a first frequency position, a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) including a Synchronization Signal (SS) and a Physical Broadcasting Channel (PBCH); determining whether any RMSI associated with the first SSB is present; and based on a determination that any RMSI associated with the first SSB is not present: acquiring, from the PBCH, RMSI scheduling information, wherein the RMSI scheduling information relates to a specified frequency range; and determining that there is no SSB associated with any RMSI that is transmitted within the specified frequency range that is related to the RMSI scheduling information.
2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the first SSB is detected at the first frequency position for a first synchronization raster, and wherein the specified frequency range includes the first synchronization raster.
3. The method according to claim 2 , wherein a second SSB not associated with any RMSI is received at a second frequency position that is not included in the first synchronization raster.
4. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the specified frequency range is obtained based on the RMSI scheduling information included in the PBCH.
5. A communication device configured to receive Remaining Minimum System Information (RMSI) in wireless communication, the communication device comprising: at least one processor; and at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, perform operations comprising: detecting, at a first frequency position, a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) including a Synchronization Signal (SS) and a Physical Broadcasting Channel (PBCH); determining whether any RMSI associated with the first SSB is present; and based on a determination that any RMSI associated with the first SSB is not present: acquiring, from the PBCH, RMSI scheduling information, wherein the RMSI scheduling information relates to a specified frequency range; and determining that there is no SSB associated with any RMSI that is transmitted within the specified frequency range that is related to the RMSI scheduling information.
6. The communication device according to claim 5 , wherein the first SSB is detected at the first frequency position for a first synchronization raster, and wherein the specified frequency range includes the first synchronization raster.
7. The communication device according to claim 6 , wherein a second SSB not associated with any RMSI is received at a second frequency position that is not included in the first synchronization raster.
8. The communication device according to claim 5 , wherein the specified frequency range is obtained based on the RMSI scheduling information included in the PBCH.
9. A user equipment (UE) configured to receive Remaining Minimum System Information (RMSI) in wireless communication, the UE comprising: at least one transmitter and at least one receiver; at least one processor; and at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, perform operations comprising: detecting, at a first frequency position, a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) including a Synchronization Signal (SS) and a Physical Broadcasting Channel (PBCH); determining whether any RMSI associated with the first SSB is present; and based on a determination that any RMSI associated with the first SSB is not present: acquiring, from the PBCH, RMSI scheduling information, wherein the RMSI scheduling information relates to a specified frequency range; and determining that there is no SSB associated with any RMSI that is transmitted within the specified frequency range that is related to the RMSI scheduling information.
10. The UE according to claim 9 , wherein the first SSB is detected at the first frequency position for a first synchronization raster, and wherein the specified frequency range includes the first synchronization raster.
11. The UE according to claim 10 , wherein a second SSB not associated with any RMSI is received at a second frequency position that is not included in the first synchronization raster.
12. The UE according to claim 9 , wherein the specified frequency range is obtained based on the RMSI scheduling information included in the PBCH.
