The control apparatus according to claim 1, wherein in the case where the first drive mode is selected and the shake amount is larger than the first threshold value, the drive control unit drives and controls the second correction unit based on a correction amount corresponding to a difference between the shake amount and the first threshold value.

5. The control apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the selection unit selects the drive mode based on the focal length and distortion information about the optical system.
