15. The control device according to claim 14, wherein the processor and the instructions are configured to send some or all of the message to a device configured to receive a communication from the vehicle over the V2X communication link.
This invention relates to vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication systems, specifically focusing on control devices that manage data transmission between vehicles and other entities. The problem addressed is the efficient and selective relaying of vehicle-generated messages to appropriate recipients over V2X networks, ensuring timely and relevant information exchange. The control device includes a processor and instructions that enable it to process messages from a vehicle and determine which parts of the message should be forwarded. The device is designed to selectively transmit some or all of the message to another device that is configured to receive communications from the vehicle over the V2X communication link. This selective transmission helps optimize network bandwidth and ensures that only relevant data is shared with the intended recipient. The system may involve filtering, prioritizing, or modifying the message content based on predefined criteria, such as message type, urgency, or recipient capabilities. The control device may also interact with other components to ensure seamless communication, such as network management modules or external data processing units. The overall goal is to enhance the efficiency and reliability of V2X communication by intelligently managing message distribution.
