Technical Abstract

A multiplayer card game that encourages alliances, extreme competition and betrayals in which players must make decisions which can impact all active players. Imitating real life events, each player makes game-changing decisions to hire a Lawyer and/or a Gatekeeper card holder or to navigate the game alone. The Lawyers and Gatekeepers collaborate with the boss card holders. The Scenario cards present situations derived from modern-day business challenges for the Entrepreneur card holder, then they must select a Sue card or Take It to the Streets card. These cards dictate applicable cost/fees, rewards, and penalties, per player type. This game promotes knowledge, relationships, and communication by forcing players to interact but sometimes, it's just the luck of the draw. The last player alive wins the game!

Detailed Description

Complete technical specification and implementation details from the patent document.

The present disclosure relates to Card games and may be classified in different ways: by their objective, by the equipment used (e.g. number of cards and type of suits), by country of origin or by mechanism (how the game is played).

A card game is any game that uses playing cards as the primary device with which the game is played, whether the cards are of a traditional design or specifically created for the game (proprietary). Revenue in the Card Games segment is projected to reach US$7.00bn in 2023 and grow annually by 7.44% (CAGR 2023-2027). The card game industry has seen a steady increase in revenue from 2012 to 2020 and is expected to exceed 6.8 billion dollars by 2025. Naturally, a Card game inventor seeks to offer the most exciting and stimulating experience for the card game genre. Therefore, there is a need for a new card game which appeals to all card playing groups.

A multiplayer fictional card game based on modern day events that encourages alliances, extreme competition and betrayals in which players are forced to make decisions which have the ability to impact all active players by dictating applicable cost/fees and income. The twist is that some player cards have Badges and/or Thief symbols which are unknown to other players, allowing them to work undercover to thwart other players. In addition, the Bosses can eliminate players if the scenario card indicates this option for BOSS LEVEL.

“Sue or Take it to the Streets?” is more than just a card game; it's a reflection of the real-world dilemmas that people face every day. Whether you choose to fight your battles in court or rally for change in the streets, the game offers a compelling and immersive experience for all players. So, gather your friends, work with the cards you're dealt, and get ready to make some tough decisions.

The main objective of the game is to navigate and respond to the scenarios presented, by making strategic choices as to whether to align with other players or go it alone. After reviewing the presented scenario, the entrepreneurial card players must decide whether to choose from either the Sue card deck or from the Take it to the Streets card deck. Each player card type accepting the risks and rewards of each decision. If the cards force you to choose, will you sacrifice yourself by resigning or will you betray your alliance? If you're a Boss card holder, how do you choose who survives a Boss Level?
