Hood Hat Enabling Various Direction Wearing and Method for Direction Wearing Using the Hood Hat

The present invention relates to a hood hat enabling various direction wearing and a method for direction wearing using the hood hat, and more specifically, a hood hat enabling various direction wearing that can provide various wearing changes with one hood hat and allows a user to utilize the hood hat to match with their taste, and a method for direction wearing using the hood hat.

Generally, when climbing or exercising, people not only use a handkerchief to wipe away sweat, but also wear a hat to prevent their face from getting scorched by the ultraviolet rays of sun.

Because the handkerchief and the hat are made up of separate articles, there is a disadvantage that the purchase cost increases because the user must purchase each separately. Also, the user must be stored separately even when not being in use, it is inconvenient, and is poor in portability and storage.

Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0287368 (registered on Aug. 16, 2002; hereinafter referred to as ‘prior art literature 1’) discloses a handkerchief equipped with a sunshade plate. The prior art literature 1 provides a structure in which the handkerchief is folded in a diagonal line, the outer side portion of the sunshade plate is arranged so as to protrude beyond the diagonally folded line of the handkerchief, and then a sawing line is formed and joined on the inner side portion of the sunshade plate. This prior art literature 1 is inconvenient to store because the sunshade plate is formed of a plate material. In addition, when the user wears it, the handkerchief portions on both sides of the sunshade plate are folded vertically to the user's forehead, and thus the sunshade plate is arranged only in a vertical direction similarly to the handkerchief direction, which makes it structurally difficult to perform the role of blocking sunlight by horizontal arrangement.

In addition, Korean Unexamined Utility Model Publication No. 20-2011-0004641 (published on May 12, 2011; hereinafter referred to as ‘prior art literature 2’) discloses a hood used also as a triangular handkerchief. The prior art literature 2 allows a handkerchief to be used as a hood, and provides a structure in which a band is rolled around one side surface of a triangular handkerchief to form a cylindrical shape, and then the cylindrical band is integrally coupled to the side of the handkerchief. This type of structure allows the user to wear a cylindrical band and then gather the vertices of the diagonal handkerchief towards the rear and tie it so that it can easily be used as a hood. However, the prior art literature 2 has the disadvantage that it does not have a brim that can shade sunlight, and is inconvenient to fold and store due to the structure of the cylindrical band.

Therefore, there has emerged a need for a handkerchief used also as a hat with a new structure in which the handkerchief is integrally formed with a brim that can shade sunlight and is used for both purposes, the shape of the brim is made to change easily so that it is easy to clean, and the brim portion can be easily placed perpendicular to the face at the time of wearing, thereby improving the sunshine blocking effect.

In recent years, Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0496513 (published on Feb. 16, 2023; hereinafter referred to as ‘prior art literature 3’), which was earlier registered by the present applicant, discloses a handkerchief used also as a hat. According to this prior art literature, the hat and the handkerchief are integrally formed, and the sunshade brim of the hat maintains its shape by wire, and the wire is also made of a material that is easily deformable. Therefore, even if the sunshade brim is attached to the handkerchief, the handkerchief may be easily wrinkled, which makes it easy to use and store, and can be easily cleaned and used. However, the shape of the hat brim is limited to a form of a curved surface, and the function of simply blocking sunlight is simple, requiring efforts to supplement this.

Therefore, the present invention has been designed to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art literatures, and an object thereof is to provide a hood hat enabling various direction wearing, which enables various wearing directions with one hood hat.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a hood hat enabling various direction wearing, which provides a hat brim that maintains the shape of the hood hat, and thus can maintain its function for a long period of time and improve its quality.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a hood hat enabling various direction wearing, in which the material inserted into the hat brim is made of a soft material, which minimizes the volume when the hat is folded, and allows the shape of the hat brim to quickly restore when the hat is unfolded, thus making it convenient to carry and use.

Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a hood hat which can be worn to match with the user's fashion sense by providing free shape-changing wearing such as a regular hat, sun gap, hair band, and hood.

Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a face cover as a set with a hood hat to protect a face from exposure to ultraviolet rays of sunlight.

A further object of the present invention is to provide a method for direction wearing using the hood hat which enables various direction wearing by using a hood hat.

In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, there is provided a hood hat enabling various direction wearing, comprising: a hood hat including a cloth member formed to wrap around a head and a forehead, and a hat brim located at the center of a diagonal line of the cloth member and formed to block sunlight; and a face cover that is formed to hide the front face while being attached and detached to the hood hat by an attachment means, wherein based on the hat brim, the hood hat is worn so that the hat brim is changed and located to the outside or inside of the cloth member, thereby enabling direction wearing of various styles of hood caps.

Further, the cloth member may be characterized in that the hat brim is sewn along a diagonal line at the diagonal center where the cloth member is spread out flat, and direction wearing of various styles of hood hats can be made in a state in which the cloth member is folded in a triangular shape.

Further, based on the hat brim of the cloth member folded in a triangular shape, when the hat brim is exposed to the outside of the cloth member, modified direction wearing can be made in the form of a hat and a sun cap, and when the hat brim is hidden inside the cloth member, modified direction wearing can be made in the style of a hairband and a hood.

Further, the hat brim may be characterized by comprising: a brim body sewn in two or more layers; a sewing finish part sewn to the edge of the brim body; a plurality of internal reinforcing materials located in the inside of the brim body and formed to hold the shape of the hat brim; a sewing line sewn to retain the positional variation of the internal reinforcing material; a Velcro tape sewn in addition to the biased end where the hat brim and the cloth member are sewn together to attach and detach the face cover; and a pulling surface that is sewn together along the end where the hat brim and the cloth member are sewn together to firmly fix the position of the hat brim by pulling the cloth member when tying hair.

Further, the internal reinforcing material of the hat brim may be characterized in that it is made of a silicone material or a plastic wire, is provided so as to be freely bendable while maintaining the shape of the hat brim, and configured so that the shape of the hat brim can be freely deformed or the inclination angle can be adjusted.

The Velcro tapes may be characterized in that they are sewn together on the left and right sides of the hat brim, with at least two pairs which are sewn and located on a biased end where the hat brim and the cloth member are sewn together, and in the vicinity thereof.

Further, the face cover may be characterized by comprising: a seat body that spreads flat; left and right ends connected to overlap at the left and right longitudinal ends of the seat body; a plurality of Velcro tapes located on the upper left and right sides and left and right ends of the seat body and provided as an attachment means; an opening part that is cut and sewn in a half-moon shape at the upper end of the left and right ends of the seat body and formed to secure a forward view when using the face cover; and a winkle area formed to contract and relax by an internal elastic band while being sewn to a certain length at the center of the upper edge of the sheet body.

Further, the hood hat enabling various direction wearing may be characterized in that the Velcro tapes are formed, wherein a Velcro tape located and formed on the left and right sides of the upper end of the seat body is formed to have small length and width, and is configured to be used as an attachment means to the hat brim of a hood hat, and a Velcro tape located and formed on the left and right ends of the seat body is configured to lock the lower end of the opening part that ensures visibility when using the face cover.

Further, according to the present invention, there is provided a method for direction wearing using a hood hat enabling various direction wearing, which comprises a hood hat including a cloth member formed to wrap around a head and a forehead, and a hat brim located at the center of a diagonal line of the cloth member and formed to block sunlight; and a face cover that is formed to hide the front face while being attached and detached to the hood hat by an attachment means, wherein the hat brim of the hood hat is worn while being changed and located to the outside or inside of the cloth member based on the hat brim, wherein in the cloth member folded in a triangular shape, modified direction wearing can be made in the form of a general hat and a sun cap when the hat brim is exposed and worn at the outside of the cloth member, and wherein modified direction wearing can be made in the form of a hair band and a hood when the hat brim is hidden and worn at the inside of the cloth member.

Further, the method may be characterized in that when the hood hat is subjected to modified direction wearing in the form of a regular hat, a sun cap, a hair band and a hood, the face cover can be attached and detached by an attachment means on the hood hat.

According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a hood hat enabling various direction wearing, which enables various wearing directions with one hood hat.

Further, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a hood hat enabling various direction wearing, which provides a hat brim that maintains the shape of the hood hat, and thus can maintain its function for a long time and improves its quality.

Referring to, a hood hat according to the present invention comprises a hood hatincluding a cloth memberformed to wrap around a head and a forehead, and a hat brimlocated at the center of a diagonal line of the cloth memberand formed to block sunlight; and a face coverthat is formed to hide the front face while being attached and detached to the hood hatby an attachment means.

Here, a hat that can be modified and worn into various styles by only the hood hatcan be provided, and the face cover may be provided as a set with a hood hat, or may be sold and attached separately.

The cloth memberis a flat fabric material, and is made so that the hat brimis sewn along a diagonal linefrom the center of the diagonal direction where the cloth memberis spread flat, and may be configured to enable direction wearing of various styles of hood hats when folded into a triangular shape.

Preferably, the cloth member is manufactured by cutting fabric into a square of a certain size, and is usually manufactured using a material that easily absorbs sweat, and various patterns may be printed on the surface.

The hat brimserves to shade sunlight, and may comprise: a brim bodysewn in two or more layers; a sewing finish partfinish-sewn to the rim edge of the brim body; a plurality of internal reinforcing materialslocated in the inside of the brim bodyand formed to hold the shape of the hat brim; a sewing linesewn to retain the positional variation of the internal reinforcing material; and a Velcro tapesewn in addition to the biased end where the hat brimand the cloth memberare sewn together to attach and detach the face cover.

In addition, the brim bodymay further comprise a pulling surfacein which upper and lower fabrics overlapped into two to four layers are cut into a semicircular or semielliptical shape, the edges are sewn to integrally join them, which is pulled by the cloth member. At this time, the cloth memberis sewn up to one end of the pulling surface, so that the position of the hat brimcan be firmly held by pulling the cloth member when tying hair of the cloth member.

On the other hand, as a method of integrally coupling the hat brim, various methods such as adhesion with a bond other than sewing may be applied. The hat brimis formed with a curved surface on the front side, so that a curved portion is formed in the front. The curved surface is expressed as a semicircle or a semi-ellipse, but it may include various shapes that enable the formation of a general hat brim.

Preferably, the end of the internal reinforcing materialmay be formed to be curved or wide, such as bending the end, attaching a cap to the end, or forming a droplet layer with a resin on the end, in order to prevent it from piercing the fabric and being exposed to the outside during washing or storage process, thereby preventing piercing the fabric.
