The invention discloses a multi-style water filling toy balloon, comprising an adjusting rod and two half-shell rubber bodies. This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202420939466.7, filed on Apr. 30, 2024, which is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety.

The present invention relates to toys, in particular to a multi-style water filling toy balloon.

There is currently a water balloon throwing game in which a balloon filled with water is thrown at a player, the player who is hit will be wetted by the water when the balloon bursts, and the player will try to avoid the flying water balloon as much as possible. This game is really a refreshing, enjoyable and safe activity to relieve summer heat. Balloons used in traditional water balloon throwing activities are disposable balloons that cannot be reused after they burst. Using too many balloons can easily cause environmental pollution. Secondly, such water balloons require the balloons to be filled with water through pressure, which often requires a faucet. Many people like to play in places with water such as suburban grasslands, seasides or riversides. However, under the action of normal atmospheric pressure, it is very difficult to inflate the balloons by direct water filling. Therefore, due to the lack of water pressure in water sources in the natural environment, it is difficult to allow the water balloons to be filled with water and expand to take shapes on site, resulting in a limited playing environment.

For this reason, there is a water balloon on the market that can be filled with water multiple times to be reused. For example, the invention patent titled “Toy Water Ball” with the publication number “CN112619180A” discloses a toy water balloon, which includes a plurality of valve bodies, each of the valve bodies has a first edge part and a second edge part; at least one first magnetic attraction piece is mounted on each first edge part, and at least one second magnetic attraction piece is mounted on each second edge part; and when the valve bodies are encircled to form a sphere shape, the first magnetic attraction pieces on the first edge parts of the valve bodies and the second magnetic attraction pieces on the second edge parts of the adjacent valve bodies generate attraction force so that the first edge parts of the valve bodies can be tightly attached to the second edge parts of the adjacent valve bodies, and therefore the valve bodies jointly form a water carrying cavity. A magnetic attraction structure is adopted by the toy water ball, so that the plurality of valve bodies together form the water-carrying cavity.

For another example, the invention patent titled “Toy Water Ball” with the publication number “CN217661508U” discloses a toy water balloon, which includes a first carrier and a second carrier. One end of the first carrier and one end of the second carrier are connected through a connecting piece. The first carrier and the second carrier are folded by taking the connecting piece as a folding point and then buckled with each other to form a water ball main body with a closed water-carrying cavity. Through a clamping structure, the first carrier and the second carrier are buckled with each other to form the water ball main body.

For yet another example, the invention patent filed by the applicant on Jun. 2, 2023, and titled “Pressing Type Circulating Water Injection Toy Ball” with the publication number “CN220402735U” discloses a press type circulating water injection toy ball, which includes a hollow whole shell as well as an elastic reset component and a cover body located in the hollow whole shell. The elastic reset component pushes the cover body to close an opening. The cover body is pushed through the toughness and resilience of the elastic reset component to return to a center position of the opening, and the opening is sealed to form a ball body.

Although the above-mentioned water balloon toys can achieve the purposes of closing and sealing by using magnetic attraction, clamping or elastic structures, their closing strength is fixed, the closing and sealing effects cannot be adjusted by adjusting the closing strength, that is, the water releasing effect after the balloons are thrown to be hit cannot be flexibly adjusted, the personalized needs cannot be met, and the water filling way is single, making it difficult to meet diversified use needs.

In view of the above shortcomings, the objective of the present invention is to provide a multi-style water filling toy balloon with reasonable structural design, adjustable closing strength, and multiple water filling ways.

In order to achieve the above objective, a technical solution provided by the present invention is as follows:

A multi-style water filling toy balloon includes an adjusting rod and two half-shell rubber bodies, one end of the adjusting rod is connected to an inner wall of one of the half-shell rubber bodies, the other end of the adjusting rod is provided with a threaded part, the other half-shell rubber body is provided with a screw hole matching the threaded part, and the threaded part is screwed into the screw hole so that the two half-shell rubber bodies cover each other to form a hollow whole shell.

As a preferred solution of the present invention, open edge positions of the half-shell rubber bodies are provided with turning edges extending in a center-of-sphere direction of the half-shell rubber bodies, which enhances the strength of edges and increases a mating area, resulting in good sealing effect.

As a preferred solution of the present invention, reinforcing ribs are provided at positions where the half-shell rubber bodies are connected with the turning edges, which improves the structural strength of the turning edges.

As a preferred solution of the present invention, reinforcing protruding strips are provided on inner walls of the half-shell rubber bodies, which can improve the structural strength of the half-shell rubber bodies.

As a preferred solution of the present invention, the adjusting rod and the half-shell rubber bodies are of an integrally-connected structure. This may reduce the number of assemblies and lower the production cost, and meanwhile, the integrally-connected structure also helps to improve firmness and durability of the connection.

As a preferred solution of the present invention, one end of the adjusting rod is provided with a connector, and the inner wall of one of the half-shell rubber bodies is provided with an insertion hole matching the connector. Through the matching of the connector and the insertion hole, fast and stable assembly can be achieved.

As a preferred solution of the present invention, shapes of openings of the two half-shell rubber bodies are the same, and shapes of other parts are the same or different, which meets the needs for diverse shapes.

As a preferred solution of the present invention, a connecting seat is provided at a center position of an inner wall of the other half-shell rubber body, and the screw hole is located on the connecting seat. The design of the connecting seat makes the structure of the screw hole more stable, avoiding deviation or deformation at the position of the screw hole when the adjusting rod is twisted, thereby ensuring the stability of the connection.

As a preferred solution of the present invention, the screw hole penetrates through the half-shell rubber body, which is more conducive to processing and production, and lowering the cost.

The present invention has the beneficial effects that: the present invention is reasonable in structural design, wherein the two half-shell rubber bodies are adopted to form the hollow whole shell, after the balloon is filled with water and is thrown to be hit, it bursts from the middle position of the hollow whole shell, the water releasing effect is good, and the entertaining effect is better; the half-shell rubber bodies may be twisted, and the closing strength between the two half-shell rubber bodies is adjusted by adjusting a depth of the threaded part of the adjusting rod screwed into the screw hole so as to achieve the required sealing effect and obtain the corresponding effect of bursting to release water, and the flexibility is high; during water filling, the half-shell rubber body on one side may be pressed to be filled with water, the half-shell rubber bodies on both sides may be pressed at the same time to be filled with water, or the half-shell rubber bodies on both sides may be pulled apart at the same time to be filled with water, etc., or the half-shell rubber bodies are twisted to be loosened and thrown into water to be filled with water automatically, there are many ways of water filling, and diverse play needs are met; and in addition, the colors and shapes of the two half-shell rubber bodies may be the same or different, making it more interesting, and individual needs are met.

Preferably, the open edge positions of the half-shell rubber bodiesare provided with turning edgesextending in a center-of-sphere direction of the half-shell rubber bodies, which enhances the strength of edges and increases a mating area, resulting in good sealing effect. The difference is that the adjusting rodand the half-shell rubber bodiesare of a split structure. A connectoris provided at one end of the adjusting rod, and the connectoris square or non-circular. An insertion holematching the connectoris provided on an inner wall of one of the half-shell rubber bodies. The connectoris inserted into the insertion holeto achieve the purpose of connection. Preferably, glue is also applied into the insertion holeto further improve the firmness of the connection.

The difference is that the two half-shell rubber bodiesare different in color and also different in overall shape. In other embodiments, the two half-shell rubber bodiesmay also adopt other shape designs, as long as the shapes of openings of the two half-shell rubber bodiesare kept the same.
