Complete technical specification and implementation details from the patent document.
The present invention relates generally to clothing, more specifically but not by way of limitation, an article of clothing that is configured to surroundably mount the legs of a wearer wherein the body of the present invention has a first end proximate the upper thigh and a second end that terminates on the foot of the user proximate the midfoot region.
Millions of individuals have sensitivities for various temperatures. Whether its living in colder climates or being inside facilities that have a temperature that is dissatisfactory for an individual, most individuals will utilize clothing in efforts to provide comfort. Conventional clothing such as long sleeve shirts and jackets are common items that are utilized typically when an individual is outdoors.
Many individuals will wear items such as but not limited to thermal undergarments both indoors and outdoors in order to provide relief from the discomfort of the colder temperatures. Conventional thermal undergarments include upper body garments that are most often a long sleeve shirt manufactured from insulating material. Lower body thermal garments typically include an underwear portion having long leggings integrally formed therewith. While the latter is effective, there are inconveniences provided by the conventional designs of lower body thermal garments. One inconvenience is introduced if a wearer needs to utilize the bathroom. In such an instance the upper portion of the lower body thermal garment must be removed. Another issue with conventional lower body thermal garments is their impact on the fit of items such as but not limited to pants in the region proximate the pelvis area as they can make the outer garment fit too tight in this region.
Accordingly, there is a need for a lower body thermal garment that is configured to surroundably mount the legs of the wearer providing coverage from the upper thigh to the midfoot region of the wearers foot.
It is the object of the present invention to provide a lower body thermal garment that is configured to provide thermal protection from colder environments wherein the present invention includes a body that is tubular in shape.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an article of clothing configured to be surroundably mounted to a wearer's leg wherein the body of the present invention includes a first end and a second end.
A further object of the present invention is to provide a lower body thermal garment that is configured to provide thermal protection from colder environments wherein the body is manufactured having a first layer and a second layer wherein the first layer is manufactured from thermal insulating material.
Yet a further object of the present invention is to provide an article of clothing configured to be surroundably mounted to a wearer's leg wherein the second layer is manufactured from an alternate material such as but not limited to elastane.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a lower body thermal garment that is configured to provide thermal protection from colder environments wherein the body has a diameter that is greater proximate the first end than the second end.
An additional object of the present invention is to provide an article of clothing configured to be surroundably mounted to a wearer's leg wherein the body further includes an integrated cuff member proximate the first end thereof.
Yet a further object of the present invention is to provide a lower body thermal garment that is configured to provide thermal protection wherein the present invention is provided in numerous alternate colors.
To the accomplishment of the above and related objects the present invention may be embodied in the form illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Attention is called to the fact that the drawings are illustrative only. Variations are contemplated as being a part of the present invention, limited only by the scope of the claims.
Referring now to the drawings submitted herewith, wherein various elements depicted therein are not necessarily drawn to scale and wherein through the views and figures like elements are referenced with identical reference numerals, there is illustrated a leg warmerconstructed according to the principles of the present invention.
An embodiment of the present invention is discussed herein with reference to the figures submitted herewith. Those skilled in the art will understand that the detailed description herein with respect to these figures is for explanatory purposes and that it is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that alternative embodiments are plausible. By way of example but not by way of limitation, those having skill in the art in light of the present teachings of the present invention will recognize a plurality of alternate and suitable approaches dependent upon the needs of the particular application to implement the functionality of any given detail described herein, beyond that of the particular implementation choices in the embodiment described herein. Referring in particular to the Figures submitted herewith, the leg warmerincludes a body. The bodyincludes a first endand a second endwherein the first endis proximate the upper thigh regionof a wearer ensuing donning of the leg warmer. The bodyis manufactured from a first layerand a second layer. The first layeris manufactured from a thermal insulating material such as but not limited to wool. The second layeris bonded to the first layerutilizing suitable durable techniques such as but not limited to stitching. The second layeris the outermost layer of the bodyand is manufactured from a material such as but not limited to an elastane fabric.
The first endincludes openingand the second endincludes opening. Openingprovides access to the interior of the bodyallowing the user to journal a foottherethrough extending the bodyso as to place the first endproximate upper thigh region. The second endterminates proximate the midfoot region of the footwherein the openingpermits the footto extend outward from the second endsuch that the hind foot region is covered by the bodyof the leg warmer. The bodyhas a diameter proximate the second endthat is less than that of the diameter proximate the first end. The tapered diameter of the bodyprovides an improved fit as compared to a consistent diameter.
The first endhas integrally formed thereon a cuff member. The cuff memberis circumferentially disposed around the openingat the first end. The cuff memberis manufactured from an elastic material so as to provide improved placement retention of the first endof the bodyensuing the leg warmerbeing donned by a user.
