Detailed Description

Complete technical specification and implementation details from the patent document.

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of swivel chairs, and in particular, to a novel swivel chair.

Swivel chairs are common furniture items, which are widely used in both home lives and office places. With continuous development of society, existing consumers are not satisfied with the swiveling function of the swivel chairs. Part consumers also hope that the swivel chairs have part functions of rocking chairs, and can have a certain degree of backward inclining capacity when there is a need for use. During use, certain backward inclination angles may be formed to obtain more comfortable use experiences.

The present applicant has found that there are at least the following technical problems in the conventional technology: an existing swivel chair with a rocking chair function has a large forward inclination angle while having a certain degree of backward inclining capacity due to structural design issues. An excessive forward inclination angle can easily cause forward leaning of users during use, which results in significant potential safety hazards. In addition, the existing swivel chair has a complex structure after the rocking chair function is added, which results in a center-of-gravity shift of the overall chair and poor stability.

An objective of the present disclosure is to provide a novel swivel chair to solve the technical problem in the conventional technology that a swivel chair has a large forward inclination angle while having a certain degree of backward inclining capacity, which is easy to incline forward to cause significant potential safety hazards and has a center-of-gravity shift to cause poor stability. A plurality of technical effects that can be achieved by a preferred technical solution of a plurality of technical solutions provided by the present disclosure are elaborated hereinafter.

To achieve the above objective, the present disclosure provides the following technical solution:

A novel swivel chair includes a base, a rigid component, elastic components, and a chair seat. The base is provided with a rotating shaft that is located at a center and can rotate relatively. A middle rear part of the rigid component is connected to the rotating shaft. Front ends of the elastic components are connected to a front end of the rigid component. The chair seat includes a seat plate and a connecting piece connected to a middle rear area of a bottom of the seat plate. A bottom of the connecting piece is connected to rear ends of the elastic components. A center of the seat plate corresponds to a center of the rotating shaft in a vertical direction.

Preferably, the rigid component includes a first rigid connecting piece arranged in a front-rear direction and a second rigid connecting piece arranged in a left-right direction. A middle rear part of the first rigid connecting piece is connected to the rotating shaft. The second rigid connecting piece is integrally connected to a front end of a top of the first rigid connecting piece. The second rigid connecting piece is connected to the front ends of the elastic components.

Preferably, the first rigid connecting piece and the second rigid connecting piece are integrally formed by using a cast iron material.

Preferably, the elastic component includes a spring steel plate. The two spring steel plates are arranged in parallel and are located on both sides of the first rigid connecting piece. Front ends of the spring steel plates are connected to the second rigid connecting piece. Rear ends of the spring steel plates are connected to the connecting piece.

Preferably, bolt holes are respectively formed in connections between the spring steel plates and the connecting piece, and a bolt connection is formed through connecting bolts.

Preferably, bolt holes are respectively formed in connections between the spring steel plates and the second rigid connecting piece, and a bolt connection is formed through connecting bolts.

Preferably, the connecting piece includes a horizontal connecting segment and inclined connecting segments connected to two ends of the horizontal connecting segment. One end, far away from the horizontal connecting segment, of the inclined connecting segment is connected to the bottom of the seat plate. The horizontal connecting segment is parallel to a horizontal plane in an unpressurized state. The seat plate has an upward inclination angle relative to the horizontal connecting segment.

Preferably, the chair seat further includes handrails and a chair back. The two handrails are respectively connected to two sides of the seat plate. The chair back is connected to a rear end of the seat plate.

The present disclosure has the beneficial effects that: after elastic deformation is produced under the driving of the chair seat, the rear ends of the elastic components can be subjected to a pressure and integrally backward incline to a certain degree together with the chair seat, and can also be subjected to a tensile force and integrally forward incline to a certain degree together with the chair seat. The rigid component has great rigidity, so that the elastic components can produce great elastic deformation when subjected to a downward pressure, and the elastic components can produce slight elastic deformation when subjected to an upward tensile force, which finally results in that a forward inclination angle that the chair seat can produce is much smaller than a backward inclination angle. A larger backward inclination angle can improve the use experience of a user and is more conformable, and a smaller forward inclination angle can prevent the user from forward leaning together with the chair seat and is safer.

The center of the seat plate corresponds to the center of the rotating shaft in the vertical direction. The rotating shaft is located at the center of the base, so that the centers of the seat plate and the base can correspond to each other in the vertical direction, thereby preventing a center-of-gravity shift of the overall chair, and improving the stability of the swivel chair.

Referring toto, the present disclosure provides a novel swivel chair, including a base, a rigid component, elastic components, and a chair seat. The baseis provided with a rotating shaftthat is located at a center and capable of rotating relatively. A middle rear part of the rigid componentis connected to the rotating shaft. The basehas good rigidity, so the overall rigidity can be maintained without bending deformation after the rigid componentis connected to the rotating shaft.

Front ends of the elastic componentsare connected to a front end of the rigid component. The elastic componentshave elastic deformation capacity. Middle parts and rear parts of the elastic componentscan produce elastic deformation relative to the front end of the rigid componentafter being stressed.

The chair seatincludes a seat plateand a connecting piececonnected to a middle rear area of a bottom of the seat plate. A bottom of the connecting pieceis connected to rear ends of the elastic components.

After elastic deformation is produced under the driving of the chair seat, the rear ends of the elastic componentscan be subjected to a pressure and integrally backward incline to a certain degree together with the chair seat, and can also be subjected to a tensile force and integrally forward incline to a certain degree together with the chair seat. In addition, in a stressed state at this moment, the rigid componenthas great rigidity, so that the elastic componentscan produce great elastic deformation when subjected to a downward pressure, and the elastic componentscan produce slight elastic deformation when subjected to an upward tensile force, which finally results in that a forward inclination angle that the chair seatcan produce is much smaller than a backward inclination angle. Referring to, a larger backward inclination angle can improve the use experience of a user and is more conformable. Referring to, a smaller forward inclination angle can prevent the user from forward inclining together with the chair seatand is safer.

The center of the seat platecorresponds to the center of the rotating shaftin the vertical direction. The rotating shaftis located at the center of the base, so that the centers of the seat plateand the basecan correspond to each other in the vertical direction. By arranging in this manner, no matter how the rigid componentand the elastic componentsare arranged, a center-of-gravity shift of the overall chair can be avoided, and the stability of the swivel chair can be effectively improved.

As an optional implementation, the rigid componentincludes a first rigid connecting piecearranged in a front-rear direction and a second rigid connecting piecearranged in a left-right direction. A middle rear part of the first rigid connecting pieceis connected to the rotating shaft. The first rigid connecting piececan move synchronously with the rotating shaft. The second rigid connecting pieceis integrally connected to a front end of a top of the first rigid connecting piece. There is good connection strength between the first rigid connecting pieceand the second rigid connecting piecedue to an integrated connection, which further improves the rigidity. The second rigid connecting pieceis connected to the front ends of the elastic components.

In the present embodiment, both the first rigid connecting pieceand the second rigid connecting pieceare plate-like structures with rectangular horizontal cross sections.

In the present embodiment, the first rigid connecting pieceand the second rigid connecting pieceare integrally formed by using a cast iron material. The cast iron material has excellent mechanical properties, high strength and rigidity, and especially, good wear resistance and heat resistance. The rigid componentintegrally formed by using the cast iron material can have extremely high strength and rigidity, and is beneficial to the elastic deformation of the elastic components.

As an optional implementation, the elastic componentincludes a spring steel plate. The spring steel platehas excellent mechanical properties, especially, good elastic deformation capacity.

In the present embodiment, preferably, there are two spring steel plates. The front ends of the spring steel platesare connected to the second rigid connecting piece. The middle parts and the rear parts of the spring steel platescan produce elastic deformation relative to the second rigid connecting pieceafter being stressed. The rear ends of the spring steel platesare connected to the connecting piece. After the elastic deformation is produced under the driving of the chair seat, the rear ends of the spring steel platescan be subjected to a pressure and integrally backward incline to a certain degree together with the chair seat, and can also be subjected to a tensile force and integrally forward incline to a certain degree together with the chair seat. In addition, in a stressed state at this moment, the second rigid connecting piecehas great rigidity, so that the spring steel platescan produce great elastic deformation when subjected to a downward pressure, and the spring steel platescan produce slight elastic deformation when subjected to an upward tensile force, which finally results in that a forward inclination angle is much smaller than a backward inclination angle. Referring to, a larger backward inclination angle can improve the use experience of a user and is more conformable. Referring to, a smaller forward inclination angle can prevent the user from forward inclining together with the chair seatand is safer.

In addition, the two spring steel platesare arranged parallel to each other. By arranging in this manner, a force can be evenly distributed, and an effect of balancing the force of the swivel chair is also achieved. The two spring steel platesare respectively located on both sides of the first rigid connecting piece. By arranging in this manner, when the middle parts and the rear parts of the spring steel platesproduce relative deformation, there is sufficient deformation space, and the middle parts and the rear parts of the spring steel platescannot collide with the first rigid connecting piece.

As an optional implementation, bolt holes are respectively formed in connections between the spring steel platesand the connecting piece, and a bolt connection is formed through connecting bolts. As a specific connection manner of detachable connections, the bolt connection has a characteristic of facilitating disassembling and assembling while having good connection strength, so that the swivel chair is more convenient and faster during overall mounting, and meanwhile, is beneficial to the package, storage, and transportation of the swivel chair.

As an optional implementation, bolt holes are respectively formed in connections between the spring steel platesand the second connecting piece, and a bolt connection is formed through connecting bolts.

As an optional implementation, the connecting pieceincludes a horizontal connecting segmentand inclined connecting segments. There are two inclined connecting segments. Each of the two ends of the horizontal connecting segmentis connected to one end of each inclined connecting segment. The preferred connection here is an integrated connection, which may be directly and integrally formed during production to improve the overall structural strength of the connecting piece. One end, far away from the horizontal connecting segment, of each inclined connecting segmentis connected to the bottom of the seat plate. The preferred connection here is a fixed connection.

Referring to, which is a structural diagram of a swivel chair in an unpressurized state, the horizontal connecting segmentis preferably arranged parallel to a horizontal plane in the unpressurized state, and meanwhile, the seat platehas an upward inclination angle relative to the horizontal connecting segment. By arranging in this manner, when a user sits on the swivel chair and does not backward incline or forward incline, the seat platecan lift the legs of the user slightly upwards through an elevation angle formed by the seat plate, and correspondingly, enable the buttocks of the user to sink slightly downwards, thereby conforming to basic characteristics of ergonomics. In addition, when the user sits on the swivel chair and forward leans properly, the overall forward inclination angle of the swivel chair is just enough to offset the upward inclination angle of the seat panelto a certain extent, thereby effectively preventing the user from slipping off the seat plate, and further reducing the risk of inclining forward.

As an optional implementation, the seat chairfurther includes handrailsand a chair back. The two handrailsare respectively connected to two sides of the seat plate. The handrailscan be configured for both hands of the user to support and grip. In the present embodiment, a preferred connection between the handrailsand the seat platemay be a detachable connection. By arranging in this manner, the package, storage, and transportation of the swivel chair can be facilitated. Moreover, a further preferred connection may be a bolt connection, so that the disassembly and assembly are faster.

The chair backis connected to the rear end of the seat plate. The chair backcan be configured for the back of the user to lean against. The overall chair seatcan be driven to backward incline through the chair backto form a certain degree of backward inclination angle to improve the use experience of the user. In the present embodiment, a preferred connection between the chair backand the seat platemay be a detachable connection. By arranging in this manner, the package, storage, and transportation of the swivel chair can be facilitated. Moreover, a further preferred connection may be a bolt connection, so that the disassembly and assembly are faster.

The above are merely specific implementations of the present disclosure, but the scope of protection of the present disclosure is not limited thereto. Any variation or replacement readily figured out by any person skilled in the art within the technical scope disclosed in the present disclosure fall within the scope of protection of the present disclosure. Therefore, the scope of protection of the present disclosure is to be subject to the scope of protection of the claims.
