The present application claims the priority of Chinese patent application No. 202410623021.2, filed on May 17, 2024, and the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety.

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of zippers, and more specifically to a retractable enclosure zipper and a double-layer retractable enclosure zipper

In the field of luggage, it is very common to expand the capacity of a bag by setting a retractable enclosure and a retractable enclosure zipper. For example, a double-layer retractable enclosure zipper disclosed in Chinese patent CN217284960U forms a retractable enclosure structure by setting a double-row zipper and a strap that can expand the space of the bag between the double-row zipper, thereby achieving the expansion and contraction effect of the space of the bag. An existing retractable enclosure zipper structure is generally as shown in, where a wire bracket Ais arranged on an outer side of the retractable enclosure zipper, and an outer sleeve Aof the wire bracket Ais fixed together with a zipper cloth A, a retractable enclosure A, and a binding strip A. This structure is widely applied to luggage, but its manufacturing process is relatively complicated, and the wire bracket Aadds a lot of weight. This structure directly sews and fixes the zipper cloth Ato the retractable enclosure A, which is simple to manufacture and lightweight. However, because this retractable enclosure zipper has no support, it is prone to wrinkles, resulting in an uneven appearance, and therefore the aesthetics of the luggage are greatly reduced.

The present disclosure discloses a retractable enclosure zipper with a simple structure, which is designed to improve the existing retractable enclosure zipper's complex manufacturing process and problem of being prone to wrinkling.

In addition, the support structure is arranged on the inner side of the retractable cloth, which may effectively support the inner side of the retractable cloth, such that the appearance of the retractable enclosure zipper is flat and wrinkle-free, which improves the overall aesthetics of the product and solves the problem of an existing zipper bag whose opening is prone to sagging. In particular, the width of the support member is not less than the width when the two zipper teeth are engaged, which ensures the reliability of the support structure and makes the zipper cloth flatter.

2. the support member is hollow, so as to reduce the volume and weight of the support member and facilitate carrying by the user; the support member may be made of plastic, metal, wood, leather, carbon fiber, or foam material, so as to achieve lightweight while ensuring support strength.

Referring to, the present disclosure provides a retractable enclosure zipper, including a first zipper cloth, a second zipper cloth, a retractable cloth, and a support structure; where the first zipper clothis arranged with first zipper teeth, and the second zipper clothis arranged with second zipper teeth; an end of the retractable clothis connected to the first zipper cloth, and another end of the retractable clothis connected to the second zipper cloth; the support structureis disposed close to the first zipper teethand is disposed on an inner side of the retractable cloth; the support structureincludes a supporting clothand a support member; the supporting clothand the retractable clothenclose to define a receiving space, and the support memberis disposed in the receiving space; a width of the support memberis greater than or equal to a width of a combination of the first zipper teeth and the second zipper teeth when engaged, for supporting the first zipper teeth, the second zipper teeth, and the retractable cloth.

In particular, the width of the support memberis not less than the width when the two zipper teeth are engaged, which ensures the reliability of the support structureand makes the zipper cloth flatter.

In some embodiments, the supporting clothincludes a first fixing clothand a second fixing cloththat are connected together by an inner zipper, which facilitates the assembly and replacement of the support member. In other embodiments, the first fixing clothand the second fixing clothmay be fixed by a sewing thread, or the supporting clothmay be integrally formed, which is not limited herein.

Implementation 1: Referring to, an end of the first fixing clothaway from the inner zipperis aligned with the retractable clothand is fixed to the retractable clothand the first zipper clothby sewing. An end of the second fixing clothaway from the inner zipperis fixed to the retractable clothby sewing. The first fixing cloth, the second fixing cloth, and the retractable clothenclose to define the receiving space, and the support memberis inserted upon opening of the inner zipperto fill the receiving space, thereby achieving a supporting effect.

Implementation 2: Referring to, an end of the retractable clothis folded to form the first fixing cloth, and a folded part of the retractable clothis sewn and fixed to the first zipper cloth. In this implementation, the implementation method of the second fixing clothis the same as that of Implementation 1, which will not be described in detail herein. The first fixing clothis formed by folding one end of the retractable cloth. It is easy to understand that the folded part of the retractable clothforms an extension section, and the extension section is arranged with inner zipper teeth for connection and dis-connection with the second fixing cloth. In some embodiments, the support memberis made of plastic, metal, wood, leather, carbon fiber, or foam material, so as to achieve lightweight while ensuring support strength. It should be noted that both ends of the support memberare affixed to the inner side of the supporting clothand remain taut to prevent the support memberfrom slipping, thereby ensuring the supporting effect.

In any of the above embodiments, the first zipper teethand the second zipper teethmay be arranged to be inverted on inner sides of the first zipper clothand the second zipper cloth, respectively. For example, the teeth may be arranged in an inverted manner, such that the appearance of the zipper is more even and reaches an optimal even state. Furthermore, the support membermay define a recess in which the teeth can be accommodated, such that the teeth are supported and their height is concealed, thereby ensuring that the teeth remain flush on the outer side of the zipper cloth. As an implementation, combined with, an end of the retractable clothis folded to form the first fixing cloth, and the folded part is sewn and fixed to the first zipper cloth. As another implementation, combining, the first fixing clothis aligned with an end of the retractable clothand is fixed to the first zipper clothby sewing. In the above two implementations, the second fixing clothmay be sewn to the retractable cloth, which is not limited herein.

In combination with, the present disclosure further provides a double-layer retractable enclosure zipper, which includes two retractable enclosure zippers as described in any of the preceding embodiments, where an end of the first zipper clothaway from the first zipper teethis arranged with main zipper teeth, and the two first zipper clothsare configured to be connected via the main zipper teeth. When in use, the user can choose to open one or both of the retractable enclosure zippers for expansion of capacity as needed, with full flexibility. In addition, the double-layer retractable enclosure zipper provides the bag with more expansion space, making it easier to store more luggage and facilitating travel. Further, the double-support reinforcement provides a more even and pleasing appearance, and the zipper is stronger and more durable.
