Complete technical specification and implementation details from the patent document.
The present invention relates to a compressible garment line and, more particularly, to a compressible garment of the compressible garment line fixed to a receptacle for easy storing.
Presently, reusable garments which provide comfort whether traveling or at home are often too bulky to store. Travelers often find themselves desirous of packing their belongings or supplies into compact spaces in order to carry as much as possible while traveling. Therefore, there is a need to provide a line of garments that permit a traveler to utilize a life size garment while storing the garment in a miniature or micro sized bag.
Additionally, reusable shopping bags are considered the environmentally friendly alternative to using single-use plastic or paper bags when carrying purchased items away from a retail establishment. Municipalities around the world are banning or putting future bans in place for single-use plastic bags as the trend to reduce single-use plastic pollution continues to grow.
While being good for the environment, many customers are accustomed to the ease and practicality of having single-use bags dependably made available to them by the retailer they purchase their items from. Customers now find themselves in difficult situations where they (a) have to constantly plan and remember to bring reusable bags with them (b) resort to the inconvenience of carrying around by hand or over the shoulder empty but bulky and large sized reusable tote bags before entering a retail store (c) or have reusable bags stored away in a non-dedicated area in the customer's vehicle or other mode of transportation. This source of frustration becomes even worse when a customer makes an impromptu or unexpected small purchase.
Currently, the materials with which many common reusable bags are made often include cotton, cardboard, raffia, PET, and different kinds of natural or synthetic fabrics, and all of them are of a relatively fixed in size, which make them difficult to store neatly when not in use and impractical, inconvenient and/or unsightly to carry and have available whenever a customer is out and about. Furthermore, the common reusable bags available on the market do not allow a low-profile, unobtrusive means to transport the reusable bag when not in use.
Some attempts have been made to create reusable bags that can be folded or somehow reduced in size for the convenience of their transportation. However, the process involves a cumbersome new habit formation of spending time refolding a bag neatly to fit into a portable carrier. Moreover, the size of the portable carrier when stuffed with the reusable bag is still too big to easily fit, for example, inside of a pocket without creating an uncomfortable and visibly noticeable bulge while also leaving little room for other pocket items such as a cellphone, wallet or a set of keys.
Presently there is no solution for a reusable bag made from ultralight, slippery, thin synthetic material that can also hold heavier items that historically would require a double bag when using single-use plastic bags and allows quick detachment and reattachment to holder's keychain and quick expansion of the bag from the cavity for in-use activity and quick compression and smooth transition of the bag into the cavity when in compact mode, that quickly and easily snaps on to the user's keychain for improved availability and can maintain its utility for years with daily use.
