Detailed Description

Complete technical specification and implementation details from the patent document.

The present invention relates to the technical field of sofa beds, in particular to a sofa bed frame pull-out mechanism and a sofa bed thereof.

The sofa bed includes a fixed frame structure and one or more parts that can move relative to the fixed frame structure, so that the sofa bed extends from the sofa position to the bed position, and vice versa. The common pull-out structure of a pull-out sofa bed has a hinge structure or a pulley track structure.

The existing U.S. Pat. No. 10,548,406 further provides a sofa bed, which coordinates the movement of the headboard and the middle board when the bed is folded. When the bed is unfolded or closed, the front and rear swinging members control the positions of the head and the middle board. Similarly, the U.S. Pat. No. 8,893,323 also has a similar hinged solution, but the hinge type is easy to rust and lead to jamming, and the hinge rods are likely pinch people, therefore the products cannot be separated. In addition, there is a pulley track type in U.S. Pat. No. 8,448,314, which installs the sleeper mechanism to the sofa sleeper frame through the pulley track type solution. However, the pulley track type is easy to rust, resulting in jamming, which also makes the manufacturing cost of the product higher. If there is no good anti-detachment mechanism, the product is easy to detach.

As can be seen from the above patents, in the actual use process, the protruding mechanism of the sofa bed is stuck due to corrosion, and many solutions have been put forward in the prior art, such as U.S. patent Ser. Nos. 11/578,754 and 11/229,286. However, the technical solutions disclosed above only improve the contact surface and reduce friction as much as possible in the actual use process, and there is still the problem of stuck due to corrosion after long-term use, which also increases the cost of manufacturing and maintenance to a certain extent.

Based on the above problems, it is necessary to propose a pull-out mechanism for a sofa bed frame, which has a simple connection mechanism and can pull out the sofa bed, and at the same time, even if the pull-out mechanism rusts, it will not affect the function of the pull-out mechanism too much.

The present invention provides a pull-out mechanism for a sofa bed frame, which includes a main frame, a sub-frame capable of moving in and out of the main frame on the ground, a structure of a track and a slider for limiting the left-right deviation of the sub-frame, and a blocking part for preventing the sub-frame from completely moving out of the main frame; wherein,

The present invention further provides a pull-out mechanism for a sofa bed frame, including a main frame, a sub-frame capable of moving in and out of the main frame on the ground, a structure of a track and a slider for limiting the left-right deviation of the sub-frame, and a blocking part for preventing the sub-frame from completely moving out of the main frame; wherein,

The present invention further provides a sofa bed, which includes a main bed body, an auxiliary bed body capable of moving in and out of the main bed body on the ground, a structure of a track and a slider for limiting the left-right deviation of the auxiliary bed body, and a blocking part for preventing the auxiliary bed body from completely moving out of the main bed body; wherein,

As shown in, the present invention provides a pull-out mechanism for a sofa bed frame, which includes a main frame, a sub-framethat can move in and out of the main frameon the ground, A structure of a trackand a sliderthat limit the left-right deviation of the sub-frame, and a blocking partthat prevents the sub-framefrom completely moving out of the main frame; and

As shown in, the slotincludes two opposite slot surfacesand a bottom surfaceconnecting the two slot surfaces. The rodalso includes a rod side surfacecorresponding to the slot surfaceand a rod top surfacecorresponding to the bottom surface. When the sub-framemoves back and forth, the rodis received by the slot, and the outer surface of the rodhas a gap with both the slot surfaceand the bottom surface. Specifically, there is a gap between the slot surfaceand the rod side surface, and a gap between the bottom surfaceand the rod top surface. When the U-shaped through slot of the slotis provided in the slider, the rodis placed in the slotthrough the U-shaped opening; the extension direction of the rodis defined as longitudinal, the cross section of the slideris U-shaped, and the lateral width of the rodis smaller than that of the slot. The gap between the rodand the sliderin the left and right direction is formed. The sliderand the rodare designed with different heights to form a height difference, which is also the depth of the rodplaced in the slot, and forms the gap between the rodand the sliderin the up and down direction.

As shown into, in one embodiment, the track includes a rodfixed to the main frame, and the rodextends from the rear end to the front end of the main frame; a sliderfixed to the sub-frame, and the slideris provided with a slotthrough which the rodcan pass, and the slideris provided with an opening communicating with the slotto put the rod. An outer end of the rodis bent and molded in the direction away from the sub-frameto form a crossbar, and the crossbarforms a blocking part. An outer end of the crossbaris provided with a mounting seat, and the track is attached to the main framethrough the mounting seat.

The rodsare arranged in two left and right positions, the sub-frameis arranged between the two left and right rods, and the slidersare correspondingly arranged on the two sides of the sub-frame. The rodcan be regarded as an elongated track arranged in parallel with the ground, and the slideris sleeved outside the elongated track. When a single elongated track is provided, this sleeve can be designed to cover at least the left and right sides of the elongated track. When the elongated tracks are arranged on the two sides, this sleeve can be designed to cover at least one side of the elongated track for restriction, but as in this embodiment, in order to cooperate with the crossbar, one of the slidersstill needs to cover the two sides of the elongated track, that is, one of the slidersstill needs to cover the corresponding surface of the elongated track bent into the crossbar, the inner side of the sliderlimits the left-right deviation, and the end face of the sliderabuts against the crossbarto restrict the forward movement;

The pull-out mechanism for a sofa bed frame also includes a limiting rodfor opening or closing the opening. The limiting rodis arranged on the sub-frameor the slider. When the sub-frameis lifted upwards, the limiting rodcloses the opening and limits the track in the slot. The limiting rodis L-shaped, the short side of the limiting rodL is rotatably connected with the sub-frameor the slider, and the opening is closed when the long side of the limiting rodL is rotated above the opening. In some embodiments (not shown in the figure), the limiting rodcan not only open and close the opening in a rotating way, but also open and close the opening in a telescopic way, or open and close the opening elastically by setting an elastic member.

As shown inand, in another embodiment, the track includes a rodfixed to the sub-frame, the rodextends from the rear end to the front end of the sub-frame, and a sliderfixed to the main frame. The slideris provided with a slotthrough which the rodcan pass, and the slideris provided with an opening communicating with the slotto put the rod. The outer end of the rodis bent in the direction away from the main frameto form a crossbar, and the crossbarconstitutes a blocking part.

Two slidersare arranged on the main frame, and two rodsare arranged correspondingly, and the rodsare placed between the two sliders. The crossbarextends from the rod and is connected to another rodto form the sub-frame, and the sub-frameis placed between the left and right rods.

The rodcan be regarded as an elongated track arranged parallel to the ground, and the slideris sleeved outside the elongated track. When the elongated track is single, this sleeve can be designed to cover at least the left and right sides of the elongated track, and when the elongated track is arranged on both sides, this sleeve can be designed to cover at least one side of the elongated track for restriction. However, as in this embodiment, in order to cooperate with the crossbar, One of the sliders still needs to cover both sides of the elongated track, that is, one of the slidersstill needs to cover the corresponding surface of the elongated track bent into the crossbar, the inner side of the sliderrestricts the left-right deviation, and the end surface of the sliderabuts against the crossbarto restrict the forward movement.

The elongated track can be a part of the frame structure of the sub-frame, or it can be an independent component installed on the sub-framethrough the mounting seat. The slideris arranged on the main framecorresponding to the elongated track, and a plurality of structural rods are connected between the elongated tracks to form the sub-frame. Any two adjacent structural rods are selected, and the area between the two structural rods is the range where the slidercan move back and forth. Usually, only two structural rods are designed, of which the last one moved out of the main frame is taken as the crossbar.

The pull-out mechanism for a sofa bed frame further includes a limiting rodfor opening or closing the opening, and the limiting rodis arranged on the main frameor the slider. When the sub-frameis lifted upwards, the limiting rodcloses the opening and limits the track in the slot. The limiting rodis L-shaped, the short side of the limiting rodL is rotatably connected with the main frameor the slider, and the opening is closed when the long side of the limiting rodL is rotated above the opening. The limiting rodcan not only open and close the opening in a rotating way, but also open and close the opening in a telescopic way, or open and close the opening elastically by arranging an elastic member. In some embodiments (not shown in the figure), the limiting rodcan not only open and close the opening in a rotating way, but also open and close the opening in a telescopic way, or open and close the opening elastically by setting an elastic member.

For the above two embodiments, the slotis a through slot that runs through the end face of the slider, and its cross section is specifically a bottom surface and two opposite side surfaces, the two opposite side surfaces extending from the two sides of the bottom surface. When the rodis placed in the slot, the two side surfaces cover both sides of the rod. In some embodiments, the two side surfaces are perpendicular to the bottom surface, and there is a gap between the rodand the two side surfaces and the bottom surface. The distance between the two sides can accommodate the rodwith a certain margin to form a gap between the rodand the two sides, and the gap between the rodand the bottom surface can be formed by controlling the depth of the rodplaced in the slot from the opening.

In some embodiments, as shown in, a U-shaped slotis provided on the slider, and the rodis placed in the slotfrom the U-shaped opening; the extension direction of the rodis defined as the longitudinal direction, and the cross section of the slideris U-shaped, and the transverse width of the rodis smaller than that of the slot, thus forming a gap between the rodand the sliderin the left-right direction. The sliderand the rodare designed with different heights, and the height difference between the sliderand the rodforms a gap between the rodand the sliderin the vertical direction.

By controlling the height of the slider, a gap is formed between the top or bottom surface of the rod(depending on the slot opening direction of the slider) and the slot, so that when the sub-framemoves back and forth, and there is a gap between the sliderand the rod, the route of the sub-frameentering and leaving the main framein a state that the sliderand the rodare not in contact is defined as an in-and-out trajectory. When the sub-framedeviates left and right and deviates from the in-and-out trajectory, the slidermoves with the sub-frame, and the gap between the inner wall of the slotin the sliderand the roddecreases with the increase of the deviation amplitude, until a sliding surface is formed by abutment, and the sliderends at this sliding surface and also restricts the rodin the slot, limiting the left and right movement of the sub-frame, while keeping the restriction for the movement of the sub-framein one of the left and right directions, and this continuous abutting sliding has the effect of guiding the movement and guiding the sub-frameto switch to the use state of expanding or retracting of the sofa bed.

The length of the slideris not limited, and its length can be shortened and designed to be similar to a slider in this embodiment, or it can be designed to be similar to a slide track in some embodiments by increasing its length. In some embodiments, as shown in, the slideris provided with a slot which can accommodate the elongated track, and the slot runs through the front and rear end faces of the slider. The slot opening is opened on the side wall of the slider, and the elongated track is put into the slot of the sliderthrough the opening. As the sub-framemoves, the slidermoves relative to the main frameor the sub-frame, and the elongated track continuously passes through the sliderthrough the slot. The contour of the inner wall of the slot can be set according to the contour of the outer wall of the elongated track, so that the bonding surface is wider and the guiding effect is better when bonding. This slot is designed to be larger than the cross section of the elongated track, so that the slideris sleeved on the periphery of the elongated track and the elongated track is placed in the slot. A gap can be left between the sliderand the side surface of the elongated track. In some embodiments, as shown in, the shape of the contour of the inner wall of the slot can be designed such that the side edge of the slot is inclinedly extended, and a concave part may also be arranged on the inner wall of the slot. As shown inand, the outer contour of the elongated track and the corresponding part of the slot can also be set obliquely, or can also be provided with a convex part, as shown in, the inner contour of the slot can also be set independently of the outer contour of the elongated track.

In some embodiments (not shown in the figure), the inner surface of the slidercan also be provided with a lubricating layer, which is convenient to reduce the friction on the sliding surface when the sliderabuts against the elongated track to form the sliding surface;

The sub-frameand the main frameprevent the sub-framefrom completely moving out and separating through the crossbar, and at the same time, the sub-framecan be converted from the use state of folding and retracting to another use state of unfolding and extending through the limit. No matter whether the slideris arranged in the sub-frameor the main frame, the sub-frameis usually more convenient to lift than the main frame, and the opening of the sloton the slidercan be designed to open downwards or upwards.

However, in order to facilitate the separation of the main frame and the sub-frame, as shown in, when the elongated track is set on the main frameand the slideris set on the sub-frame, the sloton the slideris usually designed to open downwards, which is convenient for lifting and separating the sub-frame, and the limiting rodis correspondingly arranged on the sub-frameor the slider; when the elongated track is arranged on the sub-frameand the slideris arranged on the main frame, theslot on the slideris usually designed to open upwards, which is convenient for lifting and separating the sub-frame, and the limiting rodis correspondingly arranged on the main frameor the slider; when the separation of the main frameand the sub-frameis unnecessary or prevented, the limiting rodis rotated to closes the opening and limit the track in the slotto prevent the separation of the main frameand the sub-frameafter the sub-frameis lifted or tilted; when the main frameand the sub-frameare separated, it is necessary to rotate the limiting rodto open the opening of the slot before lifting the sub-frame, and the rodis separated from the slot, and the main frameand the sub-frameare used separately.

In some embodiments (not shown in the figure), the slidercan also be provided with positioning holes, and a plurality of extendable and retractable positioning posts are arranged along the length of the elongated track; the positioning posts are used in cooperation with the positioning holes, and the positioning posts are clamped into the positioning holes to prevent the sub-frame from moving. When using the sofa bed, each positioning post respectively determines the length of one sub-frame, so that the sofa bed has a plurality of protruding states, which optimizes the user experience, and in order to further facilitate positioning and unlocking, the positioning post is provided with elastic members to realize elastic expansion and contraction, and can automatically pop up and clamp when it is in place. The positioning post is provided with a stressed inclined plane, and the inner wall of the positioning hole presses the stressed inclined plane to guide the positioning post to retract against the elastic force, so that the user can switch between a plurality of extended states only by appropriately pushing and pulling the sub-frame.

The present invention further provides a sofa bed, which includes a main bed body, an auxiliary bed body which can move in and out of the main bed body on the ground, a structure of a track and a slider for limiting the left-right deviation of the auxiliary bed body, and a blocking part for preventing the auxiliary bed body from moving out of the main bed body; and

The slotis a through slot that runs through the end face of the slider, and its cross section is specifically a bottom face and two opposite side faces, the two opposite side face extending from the two sides of the bottom face. When the rodis placed in the slot, the two side faces cover both sides of the rod. In some embodiments, the two side faces are perpendicular to the bottom face, and there is a gap between the rodand the two side faces and the bottom face. The distance between the two sides can accommodate the rodwith a certain margin to form a gap between the rodand the two sides, and the gap between the rodand the bottom surface can be formed by controlling the depth of the rodplaced in the slotfrom the opening.

The mechanism also includes a limiting rodfor opening or closing the opening, and the limiting rodis arranged on the auxiliary bed body or the slider. When the auxiliary bed body is lifted upwards, the limiting rodcloses the opening and limits the track in the slot. The limiting rodcan not only open and close the opening in a rotating way, but also open and close the opening in a telescopic way, or open and close the opening elastically by arranging an elastic member. The numb of pulleys is four, and that pulley are respectively arranged at the four corners of the bottom of the auxiliary bed body.

The slotis a U-shaped through slot provided on the slider, and the rodis placed in the slotfrom the U-shaped opening; the extension direction of the rodis defined as longitudinal, the cross section of the slideris U-shaped, and the transverse width of the rodis smaller than the transverse width of the slot, which forms a gap between the rodand the sliderin the left and right direction. The sliderand the rodare designed with different heights. The height difference between the sliderand the rodforms a gap between the rodand the sliderin the vertical direction, and the gap between the top or bottom surface of the rod(depending on the opening direction of the slotof the slider) and the slotis formed by controlling the height of the slider, so that a gap is left between the sliderand the rodespecially in the horizontal direction when the auxiliary bed body moves back and forth. The route of the auxiliary bed body going in and out of the main bed body is defined as an in-and-out trajectory in a state of keeping the sliderand the rodare not in contact with a gap; when the auxiliary bed body moves and deviates left and right from the in-and-out trajectory, the slidermoves with the auxiliary bed body, and the gap between the inner wall of the slotin the sliderand the rod decreases with the increase of the deviation, until a sliding surface its formed from abutment, and the sliderends on the sliding surface and also restricts the rodin the slot, and restrict the movement of the auxiliary bed in the left-right direction. When the separation of the main bed body and the auxiliary bed body is unnecessary or prevented, the limiting rodis rotated to close the opening and limit the track in the slotto prevent the separation of the main bed body and the auxiliary bed body after the auxiliary bed body is lifted or tilted. When separating the main bed body and the auxiliary bed body, it is necessary to rotate the limiting rodto open the opening of the slot before lifting the auxiliary bed body, so that the rodcan be separated from the slotand the main bed body and the auxiliary bed body can be used separately.

The pull-out mechanism has a relatively simple connection mechanism, which can pull out the sofa bed, and the pull-out mechanisms can not contact with each other, but when guidance is needed, a sliding surface is formed by abutment for guiding direction, which leads to the use state of the sofa bed when it is unfolded. At the same time, even if the pull-out mechanism is rusted, the function of the pull-out mechanism will not be greatly affected, and the sofa bed can be clearly disassembled and used separately. If the main bed body continues to maintain the basic functions of the sofa, the auxiliary bed body can be used as a footrest or other sofa stools.

The technical means disclosed in the solution of the present invention are not limited to the technical means disclosed in the above embodiments, but also include the technical solution composed of any combination of the above technical features. It should be pointed out that for those skilled in the art, several improvements and embellishments can be made without departing from the principle of the present invention, and these improvements and embellishments are also regarded as the protection scope of the present invention.
