The present disclosure relates to an air purifier. The air purifier of the present disclosure includes: a body having an inlet formed on an circumferential surface thereof and an outlet formed on an upper surface thereof; and a booster disposed at an upper side of the body and switching a flow direction of air which flows through the outlet. The body includes an inlet cover disposed on a circumferential surface and having the inlet, an outlet cover disposed on an upper surface and having the outlet, an upper cover disposed at an upper side of the inlet cover, and having the outlet cover disposed at an upper end portion, a blowing device disposed inside the inlet cover or the upper cover, and forming air flowing from the inlet to the outlet, and a booster coupler disposed at an upper side of the blowing device and coupled to the booster. An outer peripheral end of the outlet cover is seated on an upper side of the upper cover and an inner peripheral end is coupled to the booster coupler.

This application claims the benefit of and priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2024-0077099 in Korea, filed on Jun. 13, 2024, the entire disclosure(s) of which is hereby incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.

The present disclosure relates to an air purifier, and more particularly, to an air purifier including a booster.

An air purifier is a device that filters and discharges air inside a predetermined space to reduce dust and bacteria in the air in the corresponding space. The air purifier filters out foreign substances through an air flow in the corresponding space and discharges air from which the foreign substance is removed.

In order to suck the air in a wide range of the corresponding space and to discharge the filtered air, it is possible to initiate a structure of forming an inlet on a circumferential surface of a cylindrical case, and discharging the filtered air to the top. However, a device which switches a separate flow to a top to which the filtered air is discharged is provided in order to discharge the filtered air to a long-distance area of the corresponding space to discharge the filtered air to a wide area of an indoor space.

Korean Patent Unexamined Publication No. 10-2018-0000121 discloses a blowing device which flows the air to the top from a lower circumferential surface, and a booster which is disposed above the blowing device and switches the flow of the air discharged to the top.

However, since there is a structure in which the booster is coupled to the upper side of the body, there is a problem in that it is difficult to manage an internal part of the body in which an outlet is formed.

In view of the above, the present disclosure solves the above-described problems and other problems.

Another object of the present disclosure is to provide a purifier which is disposed at a lower side of a booster, and may manage an internal part of a body discharging air to an upper side.

Yet another object of the present disclosure is to provide an air purifier which is disposed at the lower side of the booster, and easily separates and couples an outlet cover forming an outlet.

Still yet another object of the present disclosure is to provide an air purifier having a structure in which the booster may be easily separated in a structure in which the booster is disposed.

In order to achieve the objects, the present disclosure provides an air purifier including: a body having an inlet formed on an circumferential surface thereof and an outlet formed on an upper surface thereof; and a booster disposed on the body and switching a flow direction of air which flows through the outlet.

The body includes an inlet cover disposed on a circumferential surface and having the inlet, and an outlet cover disposed on an upper surface and having the outlet. The outlet cover disposed above the inlet cover. The body includes an upper cover disposed between the outlet cover and the inlet covern,

The body includes blowing device disposed inside the inlet cover or the upper cover, and forming air flowing from the inlet to the outlet.

The body includes a booster coupler disposed at an upper side of the blowing device and coupled to the booster.

An outer peripheral end of the outlet cover is seated on an upper side of the upper cover and an inner peripheral end of the outlet cover is coupled to the booster coupler.

The outlet cover includes a cover hook inserted into the booster coupler.

The booster coupler includes a hook hole into which the cover hook is inserted. The hook hole is extended in a circumferential direction, and a width of the hook hole changed according to its circumferential a position.

The hook hole includes a first hook hole into which the cover hook is inserted. The hook hole includes a second hook hole extended from the first hook hole and limiting upward movement of the cover hook.

The outlet cover includes a plurality of outlet grills extended radially.

The outlet cover includes an outlet cover rim connecting an outer peripheral end of each of the plurality of outlet grills, and seated on the upper side of the upper cover.

The outlet cover includes an inner cover rim connecting an inner peripheral end of the plurality of outer grills, and coupled to the booster coupler.

Each of the plurality of outer grills has a form of being inclined downward toward the inner cover rim from the outer cover rim.

A fastening portion fastened to the booster coupler may be disposed in at least some of the plurality of outlet grills.

When the booster is coupled to the booster coupler, the fastening portion may be disposed at a lower side of the booster.

A hook hole into which the cover hook of the outlet cover is inserted is formed in the booster coupler. The fastening portion is disposed outside a radial direction of the hook hole.

An upper step protrudes form an upper end portion of an outer peripheral end of the outer cover rim. The upper step is seated on an upper end portion of the upper cover.

The upper cover includes an internal step which protrudes inward so that the upper step is seated.

The upper outer cover includes a plurality of cover hooks which protrude to a lower side of the inner cover rim. The plurality of cover hooks are disposed to be spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction.

Each of the plurality of cover hooks includes a hook protrusion which protrudes outward in the radial direction on a lower end portion thereof.

The booster coupler includes a rotating body which changes a direction faced by the booster to the circumferential direction, and a support body forming a space where the rotating body is disposed.

The upper outer cover is coupled to the support body.

A rotary motor fixedly disposed in the rotating body and a rotary gear which rotates by the rotary motor are disposed at an inner side of the rotating body.

A rack engaging with the rotary gear is disposed on an inner peripheral surface of the support body.

The rotating body includes a corresponding terminal electrically connected to the booster

According to the air purifier of the present disclosure, there are one or more following effects.

First, the air purifier has a structure in which an outlet cover is easily separated to an upper side of a body. Accordingly, there is an advantage in that a user can easily manage an internal part of the body by separating the outlet cover.

Second, the outlet cover is coupled to a booster coupler of the body through a hook structure. Thereafter, the outlet cover can be fastened to the body through a fastening portion. There is also an advantage in that the user can easily separate the outlet cover in a structure in which the outlet cover is fastened only in one area.

Further, there is also an advantage in that a stable mounting state of the outlet cover can be maintained in a structure in which the outlet cover is seated even on an upper cover which is an outer peripheral end.

Third, the air purifier has a structure in which a booster is separable from the body, so the booster can be separated, and then the outlet cover can be easily separated. That is, the air purifier has a structure in which the booster and the outlet cover are easily separated and coupled. The user easily can separate and manage respective components.

The effects of the present disclosure are not limited to the aforementioned effect, and other effects, which are not mentioned above, will be apparent to a person having ordinary skill in the art from the description of the claims.
